Excellent, I always thought GLB should be more like Empire Earth

Does anyone think that this is all a ploy?

They'll scrap everything but coaches and everyone will say "Yay, coaches!"

I read the new training guide, and I have a few question:

1) Are the intense training levels applicable only when you r primary training is set on intense ? (I have my guess, but I am confused)
2) What are the benefits of training two attributes together ? The training cost is the same as training them separately, and the intense training levels do not apply.

Will there be any compensation for existing players (S15 are the biggest need) for the resource units they are missing ? A S16 players seems to have an advantage over S15 player, since he can get more training done before his first cap.
32 extra training points at level 1 can easily worth 10+ SPs which is a considerable difference. Also unlocking training options at the first season is likely to have an additional accumulated benefit to the build (that I am in no position to estimate).

The problem is that they really explained the new training system poorly, after rereading it half a dozen times with my Catch22 to english decoder ring, it addresses a lot of the things people have been complaining about.

Such as:

Lack of development late in a players career: your player is approaching retirement so he's limited to light training that gives him loads of BT's that can be used on AEQ or converted to SP's to play with.

More development options: purchasing extra SA's, deciding whether you want to be a BT focused build covered with fully upgraded AEQ and extra SA's. Or more of a power trainer with maybe one less AEQ and fewer bonus SA's but with trains that add huge chunks to your bar.

As it is the current training system has lead to cookie cutter clones and is as boring as hell, this new system breathes some life into this game.

Once again it's not complicated at all, it's actually pretty cool, it's just explained HORRIBLY. What Catch and Bort don't seem to get is that adding new content is half developing the content and half marketing it, and they couldn't have done a worse job selling these changes to their existing player base.

If they'd introduced this with a simple video showcasing the new training interface and all of it's advantages (along with how simple it actualy is), most people would be excited about this rather than freaking out.

What is getting truly ridiculous is the way our builds (which we PAID for) are being smashed in consecutive seasons. We just can't depend on that the players we buy won't have their build plans completely screwed up from one season to the next because of these radical changes. I have 20+ players, and all their builds have to be completely altered (again).

I'm not creating any new players until this insanity stops. No boosting of current players either. No more money for Bort and GLB. Frankly I think GLB should refund 100% of the Flex for any player we choose to retire.

If after a few seasons things have settled down and we aren't re-inventing the wheel every 5 minutes, I may consider paying to create builds to be worthwhile. Right now, this is just a bunch of horsesh*t.

You know, this is a valid point that really gets no respect. (albeit, it's more of a sim issue than anything else.) It's bloody aggravating.

let's be honest guys......we really have no idea what we're complaining about.

My biggest complain, honestly, is resource units. That's simply waaaaaaay to many "units" for a players. You already have SP, VAs, VXP, XP, training points, shopping tokens and bonus tokens. Do we really need token tokens?
