Of course they will listen to their customers and scrap these idiotic ideas.

the problem i see with this is that you won't have enough resource units to both upgrade your equipment and buy new AEQ.
say you have just hit lvl 64 and you want to buy a new piece of AEq. Upgrading the 3 pieces you have already for lvl 64 costs 3 x 20 = 60 units. Purchasing a lvl 6 AEq costs 20 more resource units, so you're up to 80. Now you only have 20 resource units left and can only upgrade the new AEq to lvl 32. The following season it costs 3 x 25 = 75 units for lvl 72 on the other 3 pieces, leaving only 25 on your 4th. That only allows you to get it to lvl 48
we should at least get enough resource units to be able to both purchase new AEq and upgrade our existing equipment in the same season.

Can someone point me to the supporters of all this crap except for the GLB overlords? All I see is people hating, all I hear is people wanting to sell their teams.

I think that was their intent with the resource units, to be used as an AEQ bottleneck so everyone isn't sporting 4 fully upgraded pieces of aeq. It seems that they want people to mix up their trains or at least spend some of the BT's from light trains elsewhere such as on extra SA's or SP's.

The biggest problem with all the changes is time! Most of the agents that invest money and time in to this game have 20+ players, own a team or two and GM a few. I have more players than that and run two teams. This system, although it might make things interesting, will require 3-4 times the amount of time it will take to train my players and even more time than that to run my team. Now I have to recruit coaches as well as 55 players that only give me one season at their prime? I know this will diminish the amount of players I own and the amount I assist other teams as a GM. My wife already hates how much I'm on this game.
Maybe its worth it but I can pretty much guarantee you will have a run on retiring players this offseason and a huge decrease in the purchase of flex. Maybe this helps the agent that has one player. He now has stuff to click on for a while. Add some bling he can buy for his dot and I'm sure he's excited. Maybe I'm wrong but that doesn't seem like your target market. I would assume your target market is the guy that has 20+ players, 2+ teams and several GM roles. Someone that boosts and buys custom equipment and invests a whole lot of money into watching some dots fly around on a monitor.
The good news for me is now I won't have to invest as much money into this game. I just won't have the time for it.

And I have to admit if they rolled out these changes like they did with % stacking on AEQ. Where it was locked in on the date of the announcement despite testers and anyone they told knowing about it for days, I'd be rageing as hard as anyone here.

what it means is that if you want AEq at all, you'll need to do light training early on so you can buy your AEq soon enough to get it fully upgraded (probably before you hit lvl 56). Then in the end of your build it will be even more boring, because you'll be stuck with wasted bonus tokens either for extra SAs you probably don't want (unless you're a LB) or SPs for 18:1 (not the greatest)

Yeah it'll create a few different build paths. If you want an AEQ heavy build you'll definitely have to start moving in that direction early rather than pure cap building to 51 or 61 then shopping as people do under the current system.

We just can't depend on that the players we buy won't have their build plans completely screwed up from one season to the next because of these radical changes. I have 20+ players, and all their builds have to be completely altered (again).
I'm not creating any new players until this insanity stops. No boosting of current players either. No more money for Bort and GLB. Frankly I think GLB should refund 100% of the Flex for any player we choose to retire.
If after a few seasons things have settled down and we aren't re-inventing the wheel every 5 minutes, I may consider paying to create builds to be worthwhile. Right now, this is just a bunch of horsesh*t.

Training is still VERY straightforward, but now I get more items to spend my tokens on:
I choose an attribute from a dropdown and click train. I've trained, increased by attribute. Ooh, I got some bonus tokens. What can I spend these on? Hm, here's a list of things I can click on. I read through, choose something I want, click the "Upgrade" button and spend my tokens. Cool, I got a +1 bonus to my strength! Or now I can train 2 things at once! Or an extra Skill Point!
Sounds a lot more interesting and cool to me. But nah, let's reject it because it's a new idea.
Personally I think you lose newbies who have just figured out the basics of GLB and lose 2 out of 3 people who sign up after this is all implemented. The great thing about GLB was its lack of complexity, although you (creators) don't see this as being complex due to your way of thinking, ie seeing things in terms of code.
