It's not my QB in particular. Call it hypothetical I guess, but those amount of blind-side sacks are what I see every time when these "exploits" pop up in Bugs each day.

Did the offense hold their TE back to block? Were their more blitzers than O-linemen?

My biggest problem with just using presets.. is that you said only 200-300 plays.
How many of those are viable per league?
World League presets are NOT going to work at all for lower level leagues.
There is just too much difference between leagues to go with 200 presets and expect it to be balanced and fun.

I guess giving us more flexibility in the DPC is not an option at this point.

I think in general there need to be more vision checks. Pre-snap by QBs/wrs for hot route/audible blocking. OLine for picking up blockers/detecting a blitzer on the other side. LBs/S to see a run/pass and/or bite on a fake.

Going along with that, I'd love to see play action and/or counter plays as well as bootlegs coming soon. Might also help the Dline pressure problem if the QBs rollout logic was improved (yet another vision/confidence check)

This QB should be the perfect candidate to throw screen passes which should have been the perfect call on this play. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way....

It's worse out of the SG. Just runs forward into the tackler because he is too fast and agile. It's a problem that the mobile QBs get stuck in the pocket even though they weren't built that way.

That's catch's QB as well....so believe me he is very aware of this problem.

don't like it....DPC has streamlined my D gameplanning

if changed, i'll sell my competitive team and go to the casual league.

Why? It'll all be fairly casual anyway?

That's how I feel as well. I honestly think a playbook would make things take much longer.

Any chance of at least posting a poll to give everyone an option to vote on what they would like to see happen in the near future? Just to see what the populous is really thinking without having to go through 1000's of posts. Something simple, such as:

A) Leave the DPC as it is now

B) Restrict player movement in the DPC

C) Completely remove the DPC altogether

I was planning on quitting being a DC for a season or 2 anyway, so now it'll make it much easier to do that!

This was all discussed in various forms on like pages 35-45 I think, but short story is that the offense shouldn't have to hold back their TE every single play and the current setup almost completely negates anything but 2 WR sets. There were other solutions discussed like hot reads and slant audibles, but you can check it if you like.
