Well with the public forum for each of the different tournaments, there could be a person assigned by the owner of the tournament to give a write up of the tournament games that would be given privs to the forum

I'd say just a host who bought the tourney. The rest would be merely on a tourney by tourney bases if the host felt he needed help. At which time that would need to be coordinated outside of "GLB" control. In forums, etc.

It would be good to add players to a "tourney official" list or something, so people know who is a legit part of running the thing if they have questions.

I guess the way we are going with this, it would make sense that a PF is linked to the tourney. As soon as you "accept" you also get the PF.

Or... a new subforum created for tourneys that is created

Not really since you are paying 1,600 or whatever for the tourney. Definitely not free

No need for a free PF. Allow an option to purchase a PF at a slight discount with the tourney package, or simply create a thread in the tournaments forum.

so make the cost of the tournament 150 FP so the tournament itself is 100 with the FP still being 50

I like that idea.

One of the previous posts was suggesting 400/800/1600 relative to size. So I was merely throwing that out there

But ultimately you do need a forum. Whether it is a subforum or a PF (free or at discount). It kinda goes hand and hand I would think.
