I'm done with this thread, but you know what I wrote is true about screens, DB. Hell, your replay, without the blockers waiting to go down field, shows what a waste it is...I mean, look at this shit:

147 screens attempted
Completed 18 %
not 1 screen completed for positive yardage
8 ints on screens
sacked 14 times
Repeat, out of 147 screens attempted, not 1 completed for positive yardage
And all of that is just with being able to cover behind the LOS
I know it's hard to tell in text when one is attempting to make a persuasive argument, but I'm not all worked up about this (and that's why I'll shut up after this post), but it doesn't make any sense and you know it. With this, all you need to do is put a man on the HB and you stand a 0 in 147 chance of completing a screen for positive yardage. Add in the rest of the nrfs and then what? the 0 becomes a negative #??????? LMAO...I mean, come on. You guys are better than this.
If you're going to have the behind the LOS addition, the blocking absolutely must be fixed at the same time. However, that doesn't solve the biggest problem of teams running 40 screens a game then. So, put in a real repeated play penalty. have it kick in on the 6th screen and give it a nasty bite.
Screens are potentially explosive plays and often work extremely well against all sorts of Ds. Hell, Cincy picked up a 3rd and 34 against green bay this past weekend on a screen (TE screen, I believe). Sure, they got the last few yards on a fumble, but when in the world does a 3rd and long screen or draw ever actually catch a pro D off guard? Hell, they go for big plays somewhere around 30% of the time. Just use some common sense...0 positive yards in 147 attempts...LOL
Edit: before someone points out that the other team actually got some positive yardage, the key is simply putting a dot in man coverage on the HB. One D was playing zone to control the HB, the other (the one that didn't allow a single screen in 147 attempts to gain a single yd, for a net of -89.5 passing yds, just put a dot in man on the HB...That dot then ran right past the blockers untouched, play after play after play.
