...I'm sure like most ideas it needs tweaks, but there is obviously a kernel of good use to this and I think it would help in numerous ways.
One thing I failed to mention is that as a side effect it would actually help speed up players signing to teams thus speeding up the recruiting process. It's a team activity so if you have no team, then you can't participate.
