Last offseason it wouldn't have flown since there was no training during the offseason. Now that there is, something ought to be done with it. This thread outlines some great ideas to make it work well and be team-oriented.

Well, the purpose of it would be that the small percentage of gain in fan support would essentially have paid for the training camp during the first few games as ticket sales come in. So, in essence yes it would be beneficial to your income, but no you would not charge for training camp to your fans.

I like the idea of people being able to train, check in and have something to do, be active. I like giving players a reason to actually stick around during the off-season.
That said, inevitably someone is going to come in and scream the rich get richer, or they should get some sort of financial gain for this, rather than budgeting for it and it will more than likely get shot down.

It would actually cost more for the higher level teams than it would for the lower level teams. With the fan support thrown into the mix it would actually help lower level teams much more from a finanacial stand point than it would a team that already has high finances and fan support.
