+1 to the STR/Tackling part.
-1 to the rest, i think its a great idea, but incredibly involved and would add to the complexity of the game a great deal (for the casual gamer). Also stats should be absolutely insane if the people are going against builds much inferior. Kalil kills Ferrel because he's bigger, stronger, faster, and better at football. Ferrel = CPU players, slow built players, players who dont custom and jack points all over the place. You rarely see a 48 spd/70 agi OT get beat around the corner, or a 100 STR NT getting pancaked 60 times.

Wow Standarads are dropping by the day. I've seen 8 page threads full of agreement not reach epic.
This is a nice to have. There's about 100 things that would be better for the game right now, which get written off because they are too hard. This sounds like a complete re-write of the game logic.

but I have experienced firsthand that any way to limit the offenses in this game would be a good thing

Sorry we cannot read every thread and document everything. I was trying to avoid my little 'superstar' thread controversy with this.

I think GLB should be a 3D MMORPG, even the forums (20 pages of awesome sweet, Bort do it ensue)
