I completely agree that people need to learn how to make offensive linemen, but that has nothing to do with AI, which is what this suggestion involves.

I would like to agree with this, but I can not, as I feel it hurts the defense more than anything.

You want strength, and tackling to be up there for all defensive players, which I can agree with, but on the same note I don't see WRs doing anything other than Speed/Agility builds. If you want to hurt the CBs, then hurt the WRs too. Make it so when the ball is thrown, and both are there, sometimes they have to fight for the ball, not just catch it 85% of the time.

Also vision would help on the 3-5 step drops. Maybe a WR doesn't have good vision, and the QB sees him going one way, and the WR doesn't see what the QB sees, and goes a different route.

Blocking for WRs, is also an issue for me, as you can watch a WR with almost no strength, and no blocking ability constantly block 2 players on the WR screen. This should never happen.

Finally, get QBs to move around more. If a QB has his tactics set to "Never Scramble", get him to move around more within the pocket if his WRs aren't open. If his tactics are set to "Always Scramble", then get him outside of the pocket more. If a WR isn't open, he should have the option to throw it out of bounds and avoid a sack.

I like that idea

what if he is hurried and there is a long pass?

That makes it more realistic. That is football.

again

GLB will never be NFL

if he get hurry he need to throw

that is what nfl QB's do right?

This idea is great. Offences are getting too much production

OT's especially. Why are people strength obsessed when they are going to block DE's built on speed/agility pass rush? Then complain their build fails.

DBs deflecting a pass to a WR, that needs to be fixed.

DBs standing in front of, behind, and on the side of the WR and not a single one of the touches the ball due to QB and WR SAs? that needs to be fixed.

Linebackers that are supposed to cover a HB or a TE when they go on a passing route, but just kinda stand there acting retarded when their man drops to a block, needs to be fixed.

we don't need any more nerfs or regulations on gameplay, we need to fix some of the base things wrong with this game and do it quickly!

This still stands in my book, we need to be working on why defense is so ineffective, not nerfing offense. There are plenty of things to be fixed and re-worked. but to say DEs get too many sacks because of the d-line being overpowered?... have you see what happens when you have a quick OT and a decent line start blocking?

IT ends up being a pocket protected for like 10 seconds, no joke... d-line is so nerfed right now it's not even funny, OTs need to learn how to build. As for WRs and QBs it seems quite gay that the SAs are more important than how well a player can get open, or even how good a player is at throwing/reading the field. I see rex grossman like QBs just chucking the ball into crowds of defenders, but it's fine since he has 11 in tight spiral.

yeah, make tight spiral harder to intercept and maybe a little easier for the WR to pull in if he gets the chance, don't make the damned ball so impossible to deflect that it just goes right through 3 defenders and finds it's target in a WRs hands who is being tackled at the same time by a strong safety. Even if a CB misses an INT try he's gotta be missing it by QUITE A LOT to have it sail through his hand and not make contact with him at all to just fall down. how many plays do you see where the defender just misses an INT and the WR is back there to catch it in any level of football? It's just not a common occurrences because frankly CBs are not retarded enough to go for INTs 10 feet over their head.

This game needs a lot of work done defensively, even more so than we need the reactions in the def AI to recognize: What HB is in, what TE is in, what receivers are in, what side the TE is blocking on etc. etc.

I disagree. This is a video game, so you don't want this to mirror real life exactly or else it would get boring. The great thing about video game football, in my opinion, IS the inflated stats. It just makes the game more fun to watch
