Until the new users arrive to buy them anyway.

2) Reduce roster sizes to 45 - (would be another good debate on exact number but you get the idea)
This will dramatically change roster management, build strategies, and team philosophy. You won't be as able to be good at everything like you can be today. You might actually need stamina to some degree. You might actually need some of those useless VAs nobody uses. Lots of things will change...and lots of experimenting with those insta 79s (or 60s without penalty as I describe it) would be needed...which means you wont be sitting on your piles of unpaid flex for long. And if you exit because you run out of flex...so be it you werent likely contributing much to the game anyway.

Issues would be when. I've suggested 2 per season in the past (so 5 seasons would be when you'd get down to 45) but I'm not sure that matters very much. Do it tomorrow and teams will make the cuts they feel they need to make.

4) Open up the DPC - and add an OPC & let chaos rundown on this place
Really...does it matter that much any more? We'll find exploits on both sides of the ball then. You'll still need the right dots to execute them, and there will always be somebody who figures out a counter to it. Just let it go to a hardcore tactics game.

I am totally down with these ideas. As for salary cap, make it actually matter, I don't like a SPV based cap but finding a cap that has an impact and making money actually matter would be a nice touch.

And this whole "do X and eerbody gonna quit" bullshit is a big part of why this game is in the shape it's in. Every time someone suggested something to improve this game "omg peeple gonna quit don't do it!!!1!".

This is so true.

It is why we ended up with GLB2 instead of changes to this game that would have saved it and made it better.

Reducing the roster size down to 45 would be nice to help fill some other teams out

Many high level dots were build specifically for certain teams. Most of those extra 10 dots will retire when let go, sotthis isn't muchoofa ssolution.

it would be short term at best. I think reducing rosters would add more strategy to team building which would definitely be good for the game.

In 10 years you can take 8 dots to plateau if you space them out 1 a season

I don't think this game has much more life left in it personally. The user base is way down, the number of solo owner teams is way up, and it's radio silence from the admins and the game creator might as well be a figment of all of our imaginations.

I really enjoyed it for my time here, and I've owned the team for every season of GLB dotball. I would love a return to the heyday but I'm not sure how that is going to happen. I don't enjoy GLB2 and the only think that would re-invigorate me personally is a totally new game (bball, baseball, soccer), and Mighty Brawlers ain't it.

I'm here until the end. I'll go down with the ship.

This is the only thing wrong with this game.

I love this game just as much as I did in 2008. Just not having as many people to share it with is my only true complaint.
