You guys are dead wrong about the amount of Forced Fumbles being an issue.
Those numbers include special teams. The problem that most people refer to isn't related to special teams fumbles. If you think the total amount of FF is fine, then I think that only serves to show that special teams FF might be too high in comparison to the defensive FF.
With the overarching theme of GLB to make "dots do stuff", that build strategy isn't rewarded adequately given that the majority of FF are recovered by the offense anyway.. You're lucky to get 6-8 a ssn on defense (with no cpu blowouts) at that level. Given that we have QBs throw for 50 TDs, HBs run for 3000 yds, CBs get 15 INTs, and CBs/DEs who get 30 sacks....6 (defensive) FF seems out of whack as a reward for the amount of investment you have to make on your dot.
Personally, I don't care enough to make it a big issue but it doesn't change the fact that its an under-rewarded build strategy.
