We already have like 30 competitive plateau teams, so another 3 per season * 6 seasons = 48 teams btw...

3 leagues x 12 teams = 36 teams. so by your own admission we dont even have enough teams for 3 competitive teams from the excitement of starting over. there is zero evidence over the past 30 seasons that enough players will be built to fill 2 top leagues, let alone 3 or more. it woll be exactly what was killing glb before. a small group of people will own 9-12 of the wl teams and everyone else will fight for their one and done chance to finish 5th or 6th. before the crash, even wl teams were resorting to signing post plateau players.

a wl tournament serves every purpose of a w league without killing the rest of glb

yes and no - the below 12 teams are a step above the others
'
splitting them into 2-3 Pro leagues just means those leagues will be won by one of those teams

putting them into WL/CL means those 12 more evenly matched teams will battle it out and the next tier down will have more ven battles in Pro, assuming it stays at just 2 leagues and not 4 like it used to be

the problem with National Pro before was 4 leagues vs 2, not that WL took 12 top teams out of it

1 SWAT Team 13-1-0
2 Florida Frenzy 12-2-0
3 KC Comets 9-5-0
4 Tyrrhenian Sea Wasps 8-6-0
1 Midnight Marauders 10-4-0
2 Athens Empire 8-6-0
1 Orlando Prime Timers 13-1-0
2 Brothers in Arms 10-4-0 3
3 Snoqualmie Wildcats 9-5-0
4 WAR MACHINE 9-5-0
1 Asau Golden Eagles 13-1-0
2 C-Town MF'n Hood 9-5-0

I get what you are saying but there is another side to this. My dad was in WL against the best years ago but I never played back then. Going up against those top teams consistently will make us other teams better over time.

The issue teams like ours has is simply we do not get to play against these teams enough to learn and grow from it as they are always look away in WL while we climb the ladder.

We used this season to experiment and trying things out against the 'Elitist' teams. I personally learned a lot but not sure we learned enough yet.

Just my two bits. Seems silly to me to split so few teams into tiers but what do I know.

If you are good enough to win Pro after the top 12 teams move to CL then you would make CL and get that opportunity

CL just sounds wrong, a W in front of L sounds much better. However, I do agree that if you are one of the best Pro teams you will move up and get your chance to see how you manage. It's how I did it early on.

Come on man!

That's exactly the point I am making.Get up to PRO, find a way to get to WL. Get your ass demolished while trying to compete. Drop back down and likely will be going back up the ladder again. The extra seasons will help here but you made my point anyways. It's the networks that have the time to learn and adapt. I just think personally that it would be more competitive not less in a few seasons without WL.

Anyways, whatever. I personally have learned quite a bit this year so it's been fun. But doubt I have enough time to learn enough to compete with you ol' timers LOL.

None of you will beat the top network teams anyway. Let them have WL so you still have a chance to win pro. What’s the point of having 2 pro leagues where we all just watch the same 2-3 networks win both of them every season?

That's pretty condescending TBH fellow Canadian. I am turning 19, knowledgable in football and math and enjoy analysis. Are you telling me I will never be able to catch up to those teams? I disagree.

Other than the fun smack talk, if you really read what we wrote up the ladder, we knew all of the teams that would be dominant. We had a few builds that were not finished right and I convinced my dad to use this season as trial and error. He was busy with a new job and daughter wedding stuff so he agreed.

My dad enjoys the Ladder pretty much exclusively but I want to get to the top of this game and will keep learning.

What's the point of even elevating up to WL or CL or whatever the hell it's called then? Just win league and stay put.

By the way nothing but respect for how good the select few are at Dotball. One game you missed 0 tackles against us. That is hard to believe.

Your not getting the point. We would rather play the best of the best, no easy passes like having to play a KC Stags team, etc. It has always been that way and should remain that way IMO. I learned this game with what you are doing now, however, I never asked the game to be changed just to benefit myself. You will definitely become better at this game as you learn it so keep on plugging away at it. As far as no or little missed tackles goes it's all about the Builds and VA's as everything must align to prevent missed tackles and, of course, slow building builds the best players.

Well we have our next batch of dotballers started so we aren't going anywhere... Plenty of chances coming up to catch up to the top dawgs... Been fun to see the forums hopping and cares at 100%. Need more of that.

Great season everyone... Been awesome to battle and watch the battles.
