I like the 1 WL with 12 teams because that league will be full of high level teams

we see 0 WL + 2 Pro right now - each league has some "have nots"

as teams come up the ladder with the 7 season plateau we can start with 1 WL/CL and 2 Pro and if enough good teams make there way up another could be added but having the AAA and AA designations is almost like what you were talking about way back

Your argument makes no sense. I need to want more playoff teams otherwise I don't have a competitive spirit? Let's have 10/12 teams make the playoffs every season then, so we can be extra competitive? Why not 12/12 teams make the playoffs so everyone can fight for a championship?

Adding more playoff teams makes the regular season (which is 34/40 days) less important and less competitive, not the opposite.

Also saying 63% of people in the poll like a "stupid" option is not a healthy way to villianize others point of view. Clearly neither option is stupid or uncompetitive or rediculous, people just disagree about what is best.

I think we can agree s104 suffers a little from the initial season sort algorithm. There are several teams in AAA better than bottom Pro teams.

The more I think about it, the more red echoed my thoughts to a "T". Maybe go WL, Pro, Semi-pro for the top 3 designations.

On another front, I liked the moniker World League. It spoke majestically in reference to the top league and was uniquely GLB. Hopefully Bort will bring that name back to the league of all leagues .

I should have had it be a poll question, but does anyone actually like Champions league name compared to World League?

When I think of Champions League I automatically think of Soccer, not Football. As far as the WL goes it was never broke. I mean way back when the userbase was quite a bit higher than now we had 16 teams, but with the amount of users/teams there are now it should remain at 12 with no byes, top 4 in each Conference make the PO's and the other 4 are demoted to Pro. I know plenty of teams that won the WL as a 4th round seed so why take that possibility away? As far as Pro goes it should be condensed so you have a minimum # of CPU teams so it is more enjoyable for those teams involved. The one thing I do agree with you on is the sort algorithm put many teams where they didn't belong. I did write Support about that, but of course nothing was ever done. My two cents...

i want to know where people are seeing this future influx of teams is coming from. have any of looked at the lower levels? you might get 3 teams a season that could be competitive in the pros but how many of them are farm teams? and do we really need a wl where all the teams are run by the same 4 or 5 groups of people? thats not a open league, its a private league. the best part of the non wl was that owners were only supposed to own one team per league, not 3 or 4

Teams are front-loaded into s100 created (s104 plateau) dots for obvious reasons. To assume to constant build rate is 3 competitive teams/season is not accurate (even if s101 and s102 created are light.

We already have like 30 competitive plateau teams, so another 3 per season * 6 seasons = 48 teams btw...

And fwiw, adding WL creates an additional 12tm league that dots have to fill-out compared to the current leagues...
