WEEK 4 REGIONAL PRO CASUAL ELITE #1
Nearly to the quarter way mark and some good dotball has been played in the league. There are now only six undefeated teams in the league after a few took their first loss this past week. Some great great great dotball with BBB/White Lightning (20-19), Woerth Shamrocks taking down American Horror Story (33-16), October Revolution/CHAOS SOCIETY * BattleDots (30-27), and Detroit Muscle/Alaskan "War" Raven (31-28). Great game indeed. Now, here's hoping to some more but I suspect a lot of route coming out of Alpha with none of the CUP rosters playing each other.

Lipton Teabaggers vs. Nebraska-Omaha Mavricks - Teabaggers will drop in on the Mavs as each team is at 0-3. The coin toss goes the Teabaggers way (21-20)

This one will be a bit quick as I have a lunch meeting.
We've pushed past the quarter mark of the season and everyone should be getting a hand for their teams. We are down to five undefeated teams (three in Alpha and two in Zeta). The two in Zeta face off this week so unless there is a tie we'll get cut even deeper next week. It doesn't matter right - only the playoffs. My take on it is I would rather have the higher seed but that's me.
WEEK 4 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nebraska-Omaha Mavricks RB, Ray "The Hitman" Miller. Miller carried the ball only eight times but came through for 119 yards and one TD. His lone TD came at a most needed time as he ripped off a 60.5 yard TD with the Mavs trailing 16-6. The run helped propel the Mavs to their first win of the season.

Nevada Hillbillie's vs. Blatz Beer Barbarians - This one should be entertaining as two top alpha teams square off. I like BBB's D a bit more in this one and think their O will be able to do enough to get the W against Nevada. Granted, it won't be an easy walk in the park but BBB is playing about as good as anyone right now (27-17).
Warnerstock Animaniacs vs. Off In The Shower - The Animaniacs come into this one reeling from two straight beatdowns while The Shower is coming off their first loss of the season. Warnerstock's woes will continue as The Shower will slip and slide to an easy W (59-6)
White Lightning vs. Royal Oak Oaks - Another big game in Alpha that will certainly affect playoff seeding down the line. Oaks are undefeated but I'm not sure they've really been tested having played teams with a combined 2-12 record. This will be their first game of the season against someone their own level and without CPU dots. I'm give the edge to the Lightning in this one having played BBB in a tight one (24-14).
Alaskan "War" Raven vs. Vancouver Gorillas - I was high on Raven and then low on them. They bounced back with a nice W over the facials and face a hot Gorillas team who've won two striaght. This one should be close but I feel the Raven will put it to bed early in the fourth (31-10).
Royal Hostile Takeover vs. Black Box - The Box has been struggling all season and this isn't the week where they suddenly get better. The takeover will be hostile (56-6)
Lipton Teabaggers vs. Baltimore Rock Monsters - I've picked the Teabaggers a few times and they've let me down. Not this week! Rock Monsters are quietly playing some good dotball with their three game win streak - they'll be making it four in a row heading into week six (28-17).
Butte Pirates vs. Detroit Muscle - The last two undefeated teams in Zeta square off and while I keep waiting for the Pirate imploision it hasn't happened yet. I'll take the Pirate due to their age in this one but I don't think they win by more than seven as it should be close (24-23).
