GG Mavs. Awesome seeing both punters as the top players of the game.

Got pick right but off on the score.

Wow, two weeks in the books and nine unbeaten teams (six from Alpha and three from Zeta. I've had a long long long day so I'll sit down and knock this out, watch the Heat/Pacer game, and put back a couple of beers.

===============================================
WEEK THREE
===============================================
WEEK 2 PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CHAOS SOCIETY * BattleDots, CB Kiwhrk Harp. Harp had a huge roll in the Battledots 32-20 win over the Lipton Teabaggers racking up six tackles, three picks, and a defensive TD. The defensive TD came in the second half when the score was 23-13 helping close the door on a possible Teabagger comeback.
===============================================
===============================================
POWER RANKINGS - MK's TOP EIGHT
These will be more periodical vice weekly. I'll probably bust the next one out with a larger mid-season breakdown after week eight.

1. American Horror Story - Story was my top pick heading into the season and until someone knocks them off they will stay here (got a few tough ones in weeks three and four so we will see what they are made out of).
2. White Lightning - Need to see a little more from the Lightning but their history certainly says "we are going to be real good." Week three against another ranked team will give us that early glimps (against BBB).
3. Blatz Beer Barbarians - Call me crazy as I may see something that isn't there but I like what I see from triple B. Huges game with White Lightning in week three.
4. Green Bay Maulers - I won't like, I was expecting something more after boosting to 79 and haven't quite figured it out yet - maybe there isn't anything to figure out and it is what it is (hope not).
5. Alaskan "War" Raven - While I didn't get the post up in time I did have the Raven as the top team in Zeta and they've look good so far and their winning streak sits at 22 now.
6. Royal Oak Oaks - Playing real solid and have a couple of layups before facing White Lightning in week five so they'll be 4-0 heading into that game.
7. Detroit Muscle - We'll see if they can pump me up as they play a higher ranked Raven team in week three. I picked against them last week and evidently they didn't appreciate it.
8. Butte Pirates - Will give them their props now but playing three QB's and having some older dots will catch up to them later in the season.
So close - Off In The Shower
===============================================
===============================================
WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS Hey, I'll try to get a few right this week.

White Lightning vs. Blatz Beer Barbarians - GAME OF THE WEEK Two undefeated and two top three face off in a early season show down. Neither team has had what I'd consider a "good game" so this one will be interesting how each team responds to their first test of the season. Off topic a bit but seeing how BBB scrimmage them - HOW DID SHORELINE end up in casual #3?!!!! Alright, back to the review - I expect both defenses to limit the offense and keep this one particularly low and this sort of game comes down to a return or a big turnover. The punters will certainly be active but at the end of the day I think the Lightning O will get a big play or two and get the W (27-17).

Warnerstock Animaniacs vs. Green Bay Maulers - Every game so far has been a battle and I'd expect something similar from the Animaniacs. Warnerstock lost a close one last week and they'll drop another close one (20-13).

Woerth Shamrocks vs. American Horror Story Shamrocks will bring a strong game but so will Story. This one will go well into the fourth before a Story TD puts it away late (24-17).

Nevada Hillbillie's vs. Show Me Your Tets - The Tets roster sits at 47 and that will affect them against the conference top teams and I'd consider the Hillbillie's one of them once they get the ball rolling. Hillbillies continue to right their ship and get the W (38-24).

Dryden Blue Balls vs. DS Factory - Coin toss goes in Dryden's favor.

Butte Pirates vs. Lipton Teabaggers - these teams scrimmaged like crazy last season with the Teabaggers winning most and winning handily in the regular season. However, when the dust was settled it was the Pirates who won the 1st Round Playoff game. Expect that trend to continue with the Pirates winning (17-14).

Urban Blitzers vs. ATHENS WARRIORS - Said it before and even know the Blitzer fell to my team in week one I like what I saw in them. The WARRIORS will find out what I'm talking about as they'll fall (31-10).

Nebraska-Omaha Mavricks vs. Baltimore Rock Monsters - Mavs still not showing me anything and scoring 1.5 ppg simply won't get it done at any level. Rock Monsters will get more than two and win going away (31-10).

Brethren Krewe Rum Runners vs. The Irish Facials - The Runners were blanked in week two while the Facials showed some spunk before losing. I'm going with the 0-2 team here to kick start their season and get their first W (17-14).

CHAOS SOCIETY * BattleDots vs. October Revolution October will right their ship after an embarrassing loss in week two. It will be a close one but I don't think the BattleDots O will be able to score (hey, D D wins championships but they don't put the points on the board) - (27-13).

Orlando Colts vs. Black Box - I had Black scoring a FG last week but they failed in the second straight week to put points on the bound. I don't expect that to change all the sudden. The Colts will ride into the sunset (31-0).

Alaskan "War" Raven vs. Detroit Muscle - Another week three war brewing up. Here's my dilemma, I've just said Raven was my top team in the conference and the Muscle likes to prove me wrong. I'll see if they can do it to me again and take the Raven in a good one (23-16).

Royal Hostile Takeover vs. Vancouver Gorillas Gorillas seem to be hanging from a tree. However, it's like a pinata and their taking their shots. They played much better in week two but until Stella gets here groove back I'll take the Takeover (24-20).

255-0 Games
Texas Tigers vs. Royal Oak Oaks - Oaks win big.
Medford Mallards vs. Off In The Shower - Shower makes Mallards dirty.
OffTopica Freemasons vs. Terror Lake Witnesses - Freemason's get their first W of the season.
===============================================
===============================================
MY GOODNESS - I'd be afraid to google picture search the following teams:
-Butt Pirates
-Show Me Your Tets
-Dryden Blue Balls
-The Irish Facials
-Black Box
-Lipton Teabaggers
===============================================

Side Note - I hate Windows 10.
Side Note II - I miss the old NBA days when centers were centers.

Slap me on the back - I've finally got these done early but I did get these quotes while doing this "There's a game on, what are you like five, seriously - just stupid" Maybe I shouldn't do with company over.

GL to all.

That is a helluva post MK. I was a little dissapointed in what the last 79 boost did too. Effective levels did not go up 3 levels, in fact ,I don't than they budged much on our team. The alpha does look like the top dog in 1, lighting, horror and I would put the maulers right in there equally as teams going for the gold. It could come down to strategy, game planning, and the sim in close matches. GL , we're stuck over here in 2 with a few teams that will kick your ass, but u won't have to play .

I think its BS - any major rule change for a game out of beta should be an advance warning and not a mid season change. It needed to be done but why didn't they announce it during the eight day off season period. You don't pull that BS once the season has began. Thumbs down from me as it affects the eight teams who had zero warning.

Edit - not "mid season" but "during the current season" - early mid or late - BS in my book.

Orlando was the only team of the eight from #1 and 2 last season not to promote. I don't mind the way it's going to be. On BM we brought up a team a season away from being competitive - had we known the bottom four would demote we would not have done that. Ah well. I think the below is accurate so no clue why everyone had their panties in a wad. Always thought that was made casual unique and those who think the eight teams are going to be better than some that demote you'll get your little surprise. Hell, I'd argue teams in Reg three would beat all the teams in Reg #1 Zeta (BOLN Farmers Market and Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers to name a few - these are two teams that were in Reg #1 and were under leveled and got dropped now their screwed - should have dropped to #2 but now at 79 they get to go 19-1 or 20-0 and waste a full season - fun fun). .

From last season:

Florida State Seminoles - won RPCE #1.
Montreal Marauders - lost to FSU in RPCE #1 title game.
Orlando Elements - lost to FSU in RPCE conference finals.
The Mexican Fighting League - lost of Montreal in RPCE conference finals.

1. FSU looking good in CP sitting at 2-0.
2. Montreal Marauders in CP as a CPU team - no clue when this team went CPU but this is what needs to be addressed before the schedules come out.
3. Orlando Elements did not get promoted.
4. The Mexican Fightig League is CP at 0-2.

Prussian Black Hussars - won RPCE #2.
Dot Fathers - lost to Prussian Black Hussars in RPCE #2 title game.
Sic Semper Tyrannis - lost to Dot Fathers in RPCE#2 conference finals.
Sector 9 Space Rangers - lost to Prussian Black Hussars in RPCE#2 conference finals.

1. Prussian looking solid at 1-1.
2. Dot Fathers - been there done that and sitting at 1-1
3. Sic Semper Tyrannis at 2-0.
4. Sector 9 Space Rangers sitting at 1-1.

The reason had very little to do with Orlando. Very little. Florida State didn't actually promote, they had to file a support ticket to do so. In season 33, Detroit Destroyers who also won RPCE #1 also did not promote. They ended up rebooting after losing to FSS this past season in the play-offs, who went on to win the CG to not promote. The whole thing was messed up.

Yes and if you look at their "official policy" which they did not follow very well, it was to onlyy promote the winners which means only 4 teams move. that meant regional pro teams only had a 3% chance to get to the pros while a regular team hjad 10% chance, (see my post in suggestions) 3-13 team would continue on in the only pro league while even conference winners were overlookeds, so it was very inequitable, you are lucky you have someone informed fighting for your rights dude!

I tried to grab the CPU spot but it was too late as the season changed over/schedules were already out. From admin " Once we roll over to the new season, the schedules are set." I figured but also worth a try.

Basically, they've been doing it wrong for the duration.

Do the structure and movement rules apply to Casual leagues as well?
Yes.

With my team up 63-3 with less than two minutes left why would my QB take a knee here and kick the FG? Figured a run and time runs out. I've seen stranger things in casual...

GG Animaniacs - was a little surprised with the outcome there.

again you are not informed and have not read the suggestions area. Ther is only 1 pro for 5 casaul leagues, as opposed to 5 pro for 9 conference, meaning either we need 1 more pro league(i dont recommend) or more fluency at the top. Looking at how bad the stagnant teams at the top have been more fluency would not be a bad thing, also would be nice if they attempted to follow their own rules!
also you had your opportuntiy to participate in the discussion, but you choose not to, so therefore it is pointless to argue about it, it is a done deal. If you feel stronl;y about it, start your own suggestion and drum up the support to change it, good luck
