Making cash usefull is a layered move.
1. Allow players to buy via Flex Points buisness or expanded facilities for teams that can offer services to improve players
i.e. Player recovery thourgh therapy/medical facilities Doctors, Athletic Trainers, Massage Therapist. Each version cost players more money but offers faster recovery. Strength and conditioning Exercise Science Expert, Strength and Conditioning specialist, Personal Trainer once again each offers more but cost more (personal trainer makes players stronger & improve stamina, SCS, improves Strength, Speed, Conditioning, Agility, Jumping, & ESE improves all of these area even more) Position Coaches to improve SA, Supplementation Creatine, Amino Acids, HGH, Steriods if you want.

2. Teams pay players, players pay facilities for services, Buisness pay teams for rights to advertise on Team forums.

3. Players have to purchase rights to keep buisness every year, but allow some amount of cash made by a buisness to be cashed in for Flex Points like say $10,000 = 1 flex point just an example.

4. Teams can buy facilities that do these thing to add to there team to offer players benifits, To give them a competetive advantage. Lower pay for better players because they can get better faster for playing here.

5. Another thing that this opens up FA recruting service players and/or teams can pay a service to weed out the players that fit the right teams based on skills, positions, team philosophy etc. and match the right guy.

It isn't worth doing if competitve advantage can't be gained; players who are worth more gain more just like the real world. Teams can be in an arms race to offer the best. By it costing Flex Points to add the facility, it improves the teams and players, makes money for Bort, and makes pay worth something.

Items for sale could be limitless.1st step is having items for players to purchase.
Another option could be players being able to purchase a 2nd avatar slot.
Just a thought.....

Honestly I agree with the idea. It gives me a more reason to log in and actually look at my player.
