i dont really understand the problem here cause i signed on to the wrong team by accident, the team owner and i PMed support and was released within 24 hrs
Seems like if support didnt have a problem releasing me, why the problem with everyone else getting released asap if wanted by both sides?

This wouldn't be an issue if it was allowed only during off season and/or preseason....I wouldn't like it during the regular season.

+1...mostly because so many guys go inactive during the off season they often miss out on resigning.
