I am finding this to be a problem as well.
I had my first experience of too many players signing the other day. Now I have 7 CBs and one of them accidentally signed.
I'm near my roster limit, so the extra player that I do need cannot sign.

i would love this to happen. esp during the offseason. decided to re-create one of my dots and i have to wait. release him, retire him, THEN sign my new player to the roster.

Definitely needed since there is no way to automatically retract offers when you get the number of players you want. By the time the accidental extras can get free, the season starts and if any teams are left for them, it hurts chem. That's a load of crap.
