I wish this rule would go away (if only in the off-season)

I currently have two punters and want to release my own player...but can't, because I renegotiated his salary downward to help with the salary cap. So when a better punter became available, I signed him...but I can't release my own player.

really the only way i bet we ever get this done is to bombard support with cut player requests. maybe if they get tied of it, then this change might happen.

+1 This does need to be changed in the off-season at least; I have seen plenty of teams/agents hurt by the 6 day rule.

Also haven't they also made a rule that if a player does sign they have to wait til roll-over to even be put on the DC and be able to play in a game? If that is the case, the 2 game double XP theory isn't even in play anymore

anybody ever signed 55 players, and accidentally have like 7 cb's and only 1 fs or something? and you cant sign anybody else because you have 55 players and cant cut anybody for like 5 more days lol. had something like that happen to me first season i signed people
