Actually, I'm sure many of them would, because they'd be able to 'display their region as superior' by getting cake wins. It'd make it easier for some teams to win in World League. Easier...which completely defies the entire point of WL.

All promotions should be mandatory from the bottom of the capped minors to the WL. And I also think Bort should take a hard look at bringing back the 3 cap jump for minor league teams who win a conference championship. There is no reason a capped team who is crushing the other teams in the league should be able to stay down with the teams they just finished whooping.

world league is MUCH more fluid.. you get teams and you loose them pretty fast... most pro leagues are pretty competitive still and some people want to stick around to keep rivalries etc going.

I don't know how else to put this other than too bad.

Form new rivalries, just like how you would getting promoted from any other league. It's fair a team can just dominate their region for 8+ seasons and never move up because they like the rivalries? I'd also like to know what else you meant by etc, because that seems to be the only excuse I keep seeing, and imo it's not a valid one.

The thing is they wouldn't be cream puffs, they just wouldn't win 14+ games a season without much effort, and some teams just don't like that. They'd rather stay on easy mode than actually challenge themselves with a tougher league. Again, where else along the league structure can you do this? Nowhere. You win, you move up, PERIOD (unless you want to start over at a lower cap).

To me the excuses "I like the forums" and/or "I don't want to lose our rivalries" is like a kid wanting to stay back in 5th grade instead of moving to middle school because he'll lose some of his friends. Too bad...make new friends.

Absolutely not. That is an absolutely horrible idea. So you're saying that if someone, for example, has a team that spends most of its time in Pro & World League, then their players get to the 'end of their rope' and start retiring, so they are forced to move back a few levels, they should also have to rebuild their stadium? There's nothing worse imo, than teams getting demotions into a level 31 Cap or something (i've seen this happen SEVERAL times) and have like 10 level 55's on their team, which pretty much notches them the championship by default. In situations like that, everyone over level 31 (or at least within 5 levels of it) should be auto released upon being demoted.

-1000 we already have something like that. and it is ruining the game in the minor league and in GLB by having teams move up too soon. I say if a team makes a successfull dynasty of sorts(making the championship game or the conference title game in successive seasons then move them up) If a team can't do that then no move up is needed.

There is no reason a minor league team should have a choice of moving up 2 caps instead of 3 after they roll through a league. If you win the league, it should be a mandatory 3 cap promotion, no choices. If you are a playoff team, it should be an automatic 2, no choices.

Teams that roll through a minor league because they out-level the competition should have to move up 3 caps, there are teams only moving 2 caps up and exploiting this rule by rolling through minors 2 or 3 seasons in a row because they out-level everyone.

This definitely needs to happen, it takes away from teams that actually want to get to AA as fast as possible and not stick around in minors just to win loltrophies.

I'm in favor of mandatory promotions at every level except World League. I've stated my reasons for that. But outside of World League, if you're far above the talent pool in a particular league, you should be subject to mandatory promotions. You shouldn't be allowed to sit, over leveled, in a cap league and run through the competition like a mockery when we all know you belong in AA at the least.

There needs to be a system involved in this where before preseason, RIGHT BEFORE, they force any 'overleveled' teams in leagues to go to the league level they SHOULD Be in.

Teams shouldn't be able to 'smear' out the competition by bringing in over 200 Turnovers and never playing 1 competitive game all season. Teams shouldn't be able to house a roster of level 60-70+ in AA and win championships by default before ever even taking a single snap in a season tbh. It's, to me, pretty ridiculous.
