i have a good return man with alot of potential

i need some advice on what to train on

IMO

Speed
Agility
Vision
Carrying

In that order shoot for a minimum of 61 w/o eq in each skill. Speed could probably be 68 w/o eq.

Thats my best guess.

SS's don't have all the cool return SA's that a CB or HB has. It's just going to be a bit more difficult to become succesful. On top of what AngryDragon said, I'd get confidence to 50 and stamina to 45. Also at a certain point you should consider investing in the two SA's that will help out on ST's, Change Direction and Super Vision.

Given your guy is only lvl 2, this may just be the best advice. Return Specialist really is awesome.

Don't make a CB. Make a WR or HB.

Return Specialist is aight, but I'd rather have the combination of Head Fake, Juke, and Spin more... Heck, even the power SAs for HBs have been shown to be pretty beastly on KR/PR if coupled with 3rd-4th cap+ speed and agility and 3rd+ cap strength and hard-cap carrying.

this.

you can't even tell exactly what bonuses return spec gives you. with maxed quick feet, return man, and special teamer, an elusive HB is an absolute monster.

CBs can be great return men. The key is to make a return man and not a CB.

For 1, they are cheaper than HB/WR.

2 - Don't listen to the SA crowd. You aren't going to be spending a crapload in SAs anyway and first step/quick cut(change of direction) are the best 2 SAs for a return man regardless of if you are using a HB, WR, or CB. At most you are looking at 7-7-7 first step/quick cut/return specialist by low 50's in level counting CEQ and with no other points spent in any other SAs.

3 - You can get spin/juke AE and get it as high as you should invest in normally even if you are building a WR/HB return man. There is also +% to not fumble equipment out there.

Has anyone done any type of experiment to see how effective Return Specialist is?

Also can we hear once and for all if Super Vision only works on defense or on all plays?
