Thank god. I thought i was going to have to play a mainly zone defense to get players to line up where I wanted them to

Do we have any confirmation whether the DAI's LB/NT Depth Chart feature works with presets or custom D plays? I am guessing, no.

I asked this question elsewhere - the text suggests that a custom play overrides everything in the DAI output, including custom slots - is this the case???

forgive me for not reading through this whole thread.

I've been creating some plays and noticed the only position I can spy is QB. why can't I spy HB or FB?

I read that it didn't work right in testing -- you can choose mtm and then at the end of the drop down menu choose "zone" or "blitz"

HB and FB Spy worked too well. Going m2m on the HB/FB worked well enough. Go through r8's original post for the game results that lead to this decision.

And finally this game, where all of the LBs were on HB Spy, and the rest were on coverage of some sort.

In all of these cases the running game was shut down TOO well. We're currently discussing options to change the HB Spy or possibly to remove it completely - don't worry, you can still run the M2M coverage on the HB to achieve nearly the same results without it being too powerful.

Yes, it will work with the custom/preset plays. I know the layout is a little confusing on that part; I was trying to figure out how to set it up better but didn't come up with much.

Just making sure: if we want a CB in a deep zone and place them there in the DPC, they will start in the deep zone during the play? They won't start at the LOS and then try to back into the zone?

Yes, the only time the player will change his starting spot is for M2M coverage.

What about trying to put CB#3 over the TE? (I know the TE is supposed to be outside the box, but it sounds like something to check).

In the lineup he is on the wrong side of the field, will he move to cover?

Would love to know this as well. A lot of teams have a ridiculous TE with 100 speed, and you either need a ridiculous LB to match, or simply use a CB to cover him. With recent changes requiring even more high attributes for OLB, the ability to cover the TE with a CB is a huge step in the right direction.
