Actually, we're talking about Malachorn here just to bring this all out in the open.

Repeatedly attacking Mods due to the fact they are banning you for breaking rules...is in itself unintelligent.

Since Bort owns this game, and since it is a private enterprise he has the right to ban anyone for anything the chooses. Attacking a volunteer that is helping him with keeping the forums under control is pretty well warranted to me.

It wasn't just one "fuck you" it was several.

OK, that's what I was thinking of.

No im just referring to the forum banned folk. So really, how does this make sense. The true banned can stay in their non-glb hell as far as im concerned.

OK, well, I still think that's part of the punishment unless B&D say otherwise.

Well yeah thats why im posting this. Private forums owned by other are not covered in the forum rules, and i was hoping this was merely an oversight. If they can post in their own private forums and the team forums i think its merely being consistant that they be allowed to post in other's private forums, since essentially a team forum is a private forum owned by the team owner.

But, what if you invite banned hackers in orer to launch a full-scale attack against the vastly empire of Bort's and DD. Then who is to blame for the fall of GLB?

The mods and admins have full viewing access of all the private forums, whether they are members or not.

To be honest, I think teams have meetings in real life.

There are no Defensive Co-ordinators conferences in which they talk about ideas.

Good try though

There are more perma banned than just mal out there, but specifically yes, mal is the one that i invited to my forum and subsequently found that he could not post in it. I found this sort of silly considering the time hes been on punishment and the fact that he could not assault anybody through my forums and i am quite capable of moderating my own forum. AND the temp banned are barred from posting in private forums as well.

I don't think it is a punishment. It is simply a policing of the public forums. Bort and DD should not be in the business of punishing customers. They should be in the business of serving customers. If the forum ban is to serve the customers that are playing by the rules by protecting them from having to sort through the trouble makers, then that is a good thing. They should then serve the private forum customers by allowing us to include perma banned friends into our own discussions.

If the perma ban is a way to punish a bad customer, then they are being douches. If they wish to deny service, they should sack up and actually do it instead of trying to keep them around long enough to get more money from them while punishing them for their unruly behavior.

Just don't break the damn rules, and you won't have to worry about this tomfoolery.

Why is it that when someone obviously breaks the rules, people think it can be undone by making a ruckus about it? Mumia ain't getting freed, y'all.

I honestly have no idea what point you are trying to make. If someone is account banned or ip banned there is no way they are going to be able to get into the forum no matter what. Im talking about forum posting suspensions here.

Admins can view them, mods cannot.

Your wrong. I can remember a story a few years ago where Joe Gibbs spent several hours talking to his old friends in the Rams coaching staff before they went on the beat the Cowboys. If I dug around, I could find plenty more. It is quite common for coaches to share ideas about how to beat teams, especially if the victory would benefit both parties.

No. Team forums=Locker Room tbh.

Private Forums are a bonus. Just because the owner pays for them doesn't mean that users that have habitually abused the rules should get to use them.
