I'm glad this thread made Epic, and I fully agree with being able to sell back for a full refund (or at least change points in) CE before it's ever used in a game, I disagree with someone who wanted to let people move points around in it during a season.

It comes back to scouting, and while this is not the same as a respec which I'm against completely and fully, no one can be allowed to reinvent themselves any more than boosting and leveling allows during a season.

I'd be open to the idea of, in addition to letting CE points be moved around freely before an item has been used, allowing CE points to be moved around freely in the offseason as well.

But do it during the season, and it at least has to have the current cost that discourages it.

Not that bad of an idea for players, but a revenue-loser for the site (well, if you say level 16, it is bad for the players; but level 8 is pretty good for the players, so if a player just isn't working out early on you don't waste FP's on CE for him).

But those wasted FP's obviously are extra revenue for the site, so...while I'd have no problem with it being a Level 8 privilege, I likely would if I were Bort.

Not nearly as bad a sign as it seems, as while people disagree some about the specifics, I think it's a sign that everyone agrees that the idea should be implemented in some form.

Yes, I agree, CE equipment not used at all in a game should be able to be refunded for full amount. Mistakes are made... ect... ( even though I would not be able to take advantage of this, I still agree with the OP)

if they could do it, thatd be cool, for normal equipment too

I'd be a huge fan of being able to do this (reassign points to correct mistakes) for advanced equipment in addition to normal and custom. You can waste shopping tokens for weeks before you find the piece of advanced you're looking for.

Then you screw it up...eh. Sux.

And, if by normal EQ, people meant to include advanced then ignore above and go with "+1".
