If you make a mistake buying CE you can PM support and if it is a genuine mistake I'm sure they will refund you, but what we don't need is to open this up to exploitation.

Okay, how about a compromise since it could be an exploit as mandyross pointed out. Instead of the full refund before wearing it, how about the ability to re-assign the points if you haven't equipped it? (or can that already be done?)
