I think vision should be a factor. And general attributes for some players, like Field and Line Gen.

Yeah but with some element of randomness, I don't think it's completely fair that the best player ever also gets the best coach ever...but the idea is good in principle imo.

Well maybe they should just have fame carry over in some aspect. Whatever it will really do for players, it should do the same for coaches. Once we know exactly how it is going to work, we can go from there.

what kind of bonus would the position coaches give to the team? that is the only question I have, I like the idea just unsure of it's application to the team, kretch had some good things but they weren't specific enough

This is a solid idea. As of right now, I'm just going to leave the game when my current flock of players become useless. So, this gives me a reason to stay.

Who decides what is a good build?

Edit: Especially since the game is ever changing and what was a good build in season 3 isn't neccasarily a good build anymore.
