I have a question about player tactics. At what point is a HB's agility high enough to use super evasive for running style??

bort says that it starts to work well once it is between 65 and 70... personally I think your agility needs to be at least 72 and 75 is ideal.

I'll keep that in mind

you need about 80 agility and 60 vision for super elusive to work. otherwise forget it. plus you need to be really fast.

Like for the primary reciever, I want them to throw it to the WR but should I put in TE for primary reciever? I never really use this play but think it can work and dont want to screw this up. Thanks

Set it for pass, shotgun, long, TE. There's no exact way to get the ball to a WR on that play. You can try setting him as a favorite in the QB's individual tactics, but that will affect every pass play.

there is if you put a guy at TE who has no business catching the ball, like a lineman... then the qb will never throw to him

EX. If you have an input set for 1st down in the game, but nothing for second down, it will follow your output settings in the AI on first and then follow the basic settings at second down. You really can't relly predict the output because ou don't know how many of each down you will have on offense or how many series you will end up with.

You can build the AI as deep and complicated as you want to. It just depends on how much time you want to put in it.

Looking at your example here, is there anyway to setup a play for the first offensive play of the game, or was this just a random example? I can't seem to find a way to do it if there is a way.

If you don't enable your AI the sim will just follow your basic settings. Follow exactly means that if there is an input that you forgot, the CPU will not step in and correct the problem for you. I don't know exactly what will happen, but I think the industry norm is to select enable AI, but not follow my AI exactly.

I have a question regarding tactics:
QB1 is a pocket passer and QB2 is a scrambler

How do i draw up a scrambling play for QB2, while not knowing his energy level and which QB will be in at the time the scrambling play is called.
I have seen options in the play calling for HB1/HB2 and FB1/FB2 and TE1/TE2 but not QB1/QB2

I don't want to call a scramble play with QB1 under center. Am i overlooking something??

it would work if there was a custom depth chart for QB but there isnt so i think you're out of luck

You have to put the pocket passer at a custom TE option, since that position is the only one drawn before the QB. You then set a custom play that puts that TE position in (for example, TE 1), then set your energy level at QB to 1-2, so your scrambler doesn't throw the ball, and then on the scrambling play your scrambler will be in at QB......

Only downside, is you will have your QB at TE, which as far as i can tell, isn't the worse thing. My QB doesn't ever seem to get beat at TE, because his strength is pretty high (as with most QBs), he copes.

Not ideal, but until those custom QB slots come out, we're stuck with it (will probably be next season btw)

I recently took over OC. New to the AI. I had a player tell me that his WR is not receiving any dedicated plays.
In the AI I see where you can tell the AI to look to first. But nothing for an individual WR. I have five quality WR to get the ball to.
This WR is 3rd WR. Is this possible to dedicate a play to a WR who is not number 1? Can you change who is number one WR for
individual plays?

Is there a updated manual for OC? the one I was reading is 8 months old. Thanks
