It's only a guideline. Stamina depends on whether you are playing against a better player or not, and how much your player moves. QB/FS/SS can play for a long time on a harder intensity because they don't have to run around as much.

Really? I'd think a SS and FS run alot! They have to cover WRs and stop the run.

Verloren... lol
Sorry, I like your name. German, by any chance?

I think it might just be the owner settings. I will just have to wait and see.

If you look at zone, they don't drop back as much. And if playing man, they usually start off loose and start moving closer to the WR. Not as much as the CBs who have to be aware of the WR every single second and keep up all the time.

[Edit] Went to a German HS for a year.

id have to agree with verloren. need to built up the strength and vision to balance out the kicker. i think those are the three main attributes. my punter has a 47 on punting and mid twenties on strength and vision. when i get the 5 skill point level upgrade, i try to put 1 in strength, 1 vision, 3 punting. so far its cut down on the shanks, and increased punt average by 10+ yards per punt. my tackling is still at 8 i think.

so to build a 'pure' kicker or punter, you still have to have the vision. you cant make long FGs if you cant see the uprights.

Can someone explain to me why agility is more important than speed for a possession wide receiver?

You aren't running go-routes as the possession receiver. You run 5-10 yards and then make an ankle-breaking cut to get open.

I credited you in the original post but changed it a little. The reason is there were 2 forms of this post, one for my league forums and one for this forum. The version for my league forum didn't mention you because it wasn't necessary. I was just cutting and pasting the most recent version so I must have pasted a version without that little paragraph about you in it.

In fact at least 60% of this came from your thread and my goal was basically to organize what you did in your thread (very, very helpful) into a form that was easy to use. You deserve a lot of credit for this. These are definitely not mostly my ideas.

OK big stamina update thanks to Galkuris.

I would add Jumping for CB's. Obviously it helps a lot with getting pass deflections, but there is no point putting up catching if you can't reach the ball.

My system is to make sure the first skill points on a player are used to get Stamina to 20 (without using equipment), then put the other points wherever I want them. Then I put Stamina as the stat to train and just leave it there forever. This will make sure Stamina keeps up with my levels and I don't have to think about it anymore.
