I think its important to know to for new people that they should sign with a CPU team then with a human team so you can get the signing bonus. Don't just go straight to a human team.

Technically this is working the system and should not be done as a regular tactic or it might cause the devs to remove the ability to do so.

Exploitation should not be part of a newbie guide.

Where do you draw the line between playing smart and "exploiting?"

Exploiting is doing something that wasn't intended. I think its pretty obvious that signing up with a CPU team for the signing bonus then immediately switching to another team with no backlash isn't how it's going to be after beta. I don't think its a huge deal personally, but I hope they make it so if you leave a team without playing out a certain amount of games (barring a trade) you will lose the signing bonus.

Any lawyer will tell you how hard it is to argue intent. Unless the devs come out and explicitly say not to do it, I don't see the problem.

Fortunately this isn't a court of law. The Devs implemented the ability to sign players on CPU teams away because of an increase in players PMing them requests in the first few days of beta. If new players start using that kindness as an exploit, it will go away.

Or CPU teams just won't offer a signing bonus...

Either way, until the devs update the way it is, it's smartest to join the CPU team first for the free money.

CB

Key Physical Attributes: Speed, Agility, Vision
Other Important Physical Attributes: Jumping, Catching
Special Abilitites: Less Important – Focus on either ability tree according to personal preference
Other Advice: Physical abilities are key for this position

Surely Tackling has got to be in there somewhere? Wouldn't want to miss those last-ditch tackles!

This also gets back into the issue of why people are so worried about the money. You do not need to bank cash because there is NOTHING to do with it. All players are created with enough money to buy equipment, anything beyond that is a waste of time at this point.

As another K, I'd say...not bad. We're going along the same direction with just a little different emphasis. But looks like we're both thinking along the same lines.
