THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME SIXTEEN Prep Competitive #1 Season 67 has been the most fun season I can remember. All of the owners in this league helped make this a very competitive and exciting season. It sure was a pleasure reporting on this league this season.
Game of the Week: Universal Studios Monsters (14) v.
Free the Weed (13): Medicated, the owner of Free the Weed, came into this game feeling confident. His Free the Weed team had played their way into the Prep League tournament championship game; in league play his team was riding a 5 game winning streak; and, most importantly, the conference opponents that had narrowly beaten his team in the first half of the season had all been defeated in the second half of the season. But now, his Free the Weed team had to play a road game against the Universal Studios Monsters; yet Medicated remained confident that Free the Weed could get the job done. The first half of the game was a defensive struggle and with just 37 seconds before halftime, Free the Weed was losing by a narrow 7-6 margin when (HB) Crack Whore retuned this 75 punt return touchdown:

Remarkably, the score remained locked at 13-7 through nearly the entire second half of the game. So with just 1:50 left in the 4th quarter, Free the Weed punted deep into the Monster's side of the field and pinned the Monsters down at their own 10 yard line. Medicated knew that his Free the Weed defense needed just one more stop to beat the Universal Studios Monsters. Unfortunately, the Free the Weed defense could not deliver that final stop. Over the next 1:03 seconds, the Universal Studios Monsters offense exploded in sudden bursts to drive 90 yards down the field for the winning touchdown.
Offensive Player of the Week: (HB) Bullet Train -owned by crazypapasmurf: While the Rhode Island Red Wolves defense has made the front pages of the newspapers week in and week out, the Red Wolves also enjoy the number one ranked rushing offense in the Western Conference. With very little fanfare, (HB) Bullet Train has had an offensive MVP worthy season. In this week's game (HB) Bullet Train rushed for 184 yards and 5 touchdowns. After the game Bullet Train was interviewed by a local reporter and he stated "This has been a dream season for me. My offensive line has really blocked well and my coaches have drawn up great plays. But, if I am being honest, the real credit has to go to my Momma"
Defensive Player of the Week: (CB) Russell Wilkes -owned by ghozu: Last week, the Paris Bull Dawgs made a bold prediction, that they and not Black Parrot M.M would snag the fourth and final playoff slot. The Black Parrot M.M locker room felt incredibly disrespected and the players were determined to make the Bull Dawgs pay a heavy price in their season finale rematch. ghozu tried in vain to calm his players down. Rather, than physical punishment, ghozu tried to convey to his team that they had to both win the game and outscore the Bull Dawgs by a certain margin in order to win the playoff tiebreakers needed to put the Black Parrots into the playoffs instead of the Bull Dawgs. ghozu managed to keep his Black Parrots on task for the first half of the game, Going into halftime the Black Parrots were winning 17-0. But in the third quarter, the Bull Dawgs put up a quick 10 points and ghozu lost all control over his furious defense. The Black Parrots went on to win the game 31-17, but the margin was not large enough and they missed out on the playoffs. Paradoxically, The Paris Bull Dawgs, after losing this game, locked up the final spot in the playoffs. But the Bull Dawg skill players paid with a pound of flesh for the victory. To say that the final quarter of play was "a bit chippy" is an understatement. The Black Parrot defense wanted to inflict pain and that is exactly what they did. (CB) Russell Wilkes led the way for the Black Parrot defense with 9 bone crushing reverse pancakes on the Bull Dawgs receivers. After this particularly vicious knockdown, (WR) Ultimo K-Zinck came back to the sidelines with his eyes rolling into the back of his head and blood and spittle gushing out of his mouth:

They continued their winning ways with an absolute dissection of the NY Buzz. In the lopsided 122-0 win (HB) Tudah House delivered 4 punt return touchdowns.
