THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME FIFTEEN

Prep Competitive #1- Some owners were too scared to bring their teams here this season...with good reason.

Game of the Week: The Agency 2.0 (17) v. The Rhode Island Red Wolves (14): Red Wolves Stadium was packed to capacity and 33,740 fans screamed, cheered and stomped their feet through 4 quarters of great football; but one of those fans had a secret. The hometown Red Wolves' fans were delighted when in the Second quarter their team took a 7-3 lead; but seconds later they absolutely went bonkers when the Red Wolves doubled their score on this defensive touchdown play:
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2921942&pbp_id=1215964
The Red Wolves fans were so excited and so busy celebrating that they failed to notice that one fan in the front row had torn off his fake wig and mustache and jumped the railing and was running across the field to the visitor's bench. But Lava124, owner of The Rhode Island Red Wolves, sitting up in his owner's suite, noticed the on-field intruder and he recognized the intruder, it was DavyJonesLocker, owner of the Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts. Lava124 screamed "What is he doing here!! The Pirate Ghosts are playing a home game right now, why isnt DavyJonesLocker at his own stadium?" Lava 124 picked up his phone and called security "Get that son of a b#tch out of my stadium" he growled into the phone. DavyJonesLocker ran to the visitor's bench and grabbed (QB) The Agency QB and whispered something into his ear. Seconds later Red Wolves' security apprehended DavyJonesLocker and dragged him off the field and threw him out of Red Wolves Stadium. But, the damage was already done. Over the final quarter and a half of play, (QB) The Agency QB rallied the visiting Agency 2.0 and led his team to victory by throwing two touchdown passes to win the tight game.

Offensive Player of the Week: (OT) 1stLt James H. McLenden -owned by Sooner19: Minxy's son is a High School Center, so she knows that offensive linemen do a lot of dirty work and never get enough credit. Time to show some love for the big uglys. (OT) 1stLt James H. McLenden absolutely dominated the Yuma Fokkers defensive line and racked up an eye-popping 15 pancake blocks.

Defensive Player of the Week: (DE) (Pringles Honey mustard -owned by onemiln09: Free the Weed has managed to fly under the radar for much of this season despite a very respectable 9-6 record. Yet, Free the Weed stands poised to possibly win the League Tournament and the League Championship over the next few weeks. To punctuate their capabilities, Free the Weed absolutely manhandled Black Parrot M.M. (DE) Pringles Honey mustard is sick of hearing about the Pirate Ghost and Red Wolves defenses all season long. Free the Weed has the best Pass Defense in the Eastern Conference and they can make an opposing quarterback's day miserable. In this game, (QB) General Levy, of the Black Parrot M.M, was hurried 7 times and sacked 8 times. (DE) Pringles Honey mustard led the charge with 6 tackles, 6 sacks and 1 hurry.

Special Teams Player of the Week: (FB) Kps Returning -owned by KP: KP is not losing a lot of sleep over her team's disappointing second half of the season. After starting out with a bang and achieving a 5-3 record for the first half of the season, her Paris Bull Dawgs have only manged to eek out a 3-4 record over the last seven games; but KP is not worried. KP knows that the real season, the playoffs, are just around the corner. Trying to cheer up their beloved owner, the Paris Bull Dawgs went medieval on the hapless North Dallas Football Club this game. (FB) Kps Returning had 7 punt return touchdowns, but more importantly made one hell of a guarantee after the game "We are making the playoffs this year!" But, ghozu and his Black Parrot M.M team were not amused by Kps Returning's bold guarantee and vowed that the Black Parrots would be ready for the end of the season rematch between the Paris Bull Dawgs and the Black Parrot M.M.

POWER RANKINGS
1. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts
2. Universal Studios Monsters
3. Rhode Island Red Wolves
4. Free the Weed
5. American Muscle - tough loss this week.

THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME SIXTEEN

Prep Competitive #1 Season 67 has been the most fun season I can remember. All of the owners in this league helped make this a very competitive and exciting season. It sure was a pleasure reporting on this league this season.

Game of the Week: Universal Studios Monsters (14) v. Free the Weed (13): Medicated, the owner of Free the Weed, came into this game feeling confident. His Free the Weed team had played their way into the Prep League tournament championship game; in league play his team was riding a 5 game winning streak; and, most importantly, the conference opponents that had narrowly beaten his team in the first half of the season had all been defeated in the second half of the season. But now, his Free the Weed team had to play a road game against the Universal Studios Monsters; yet Medicated remained confident that Free the Weed could get the job done. The first half of the game was a defensive struggle and with just 37 seconds before halftime, Free the Weed was losing by a narrow 7-6 margin when (HB) Crack Whore retuned this 75 punt return touchdown:
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2921950&pbp_id=1277276
Thanks to that punt return touchdown, Medicated enjoyed a 13-7 lead going into halftime. Remarkably, the score remained locked at 13-7 through nearly the entire second half of the game. So with just 1:50 left in the 4th quarter, Free the Weed punted deep into the Monster's side of the field and pinned the Monsters down at their own 10 yard line. Medicated knew that his Free the Weed defense needed just one more stop to beat the Universal Studios Monsters. Unfortunately, the Free the Weed defense could not deliver that final stop. Over the next 1:03 seconds, the Universal Studios Monsters offense exploded in sudden bursts to drive 90 yards down the field for the winning touchdown.

Offensive Player of the Week: (HB) Bullet Train -owned by crazypapasmurf: While the Rhode Island Red Wolves defense has made the front pages of the newspapers week in and week out, the Red Wolves also enjoy the number one ranked rushing offense in the Western Conference. With very little fanfare, (HB) Bullet Train has had an offensive MVP worthy season. In this week's game (HB) Bullet Train rushed for 184 yards and 5 touchdowns. After the game Bullet Train was interviewed by a local reporter and he stated "This has been a dream season for me. My offensive line has really blocked well and my coaches have drawn up great plays. But, if I am being honest, the real credit has to go to my Momma"

Defensive Player of the Week: (CB) Russell Wilkes -owned by ghozu: Last week, the Paris Bull Dawgs made a bold prediction, that they and not Black Parrot M.M would snag the fourth and final playoff slot. The Black Parrot M.M locker room felt incredibly disrespected and the players were determined to make the Bull Dawgs pay a heavy price in their season finale rematch. ghozu tried in vain to calm his players down. Rather, than physical punishment, ghozu tried to convey to his team that they had to both win the game and outscore the Bull Dawgs by a certain margin in order to win the playoff tiebreakers needed to put the Black Parrots into the playoffs instead of the Bull Dawgs. ghozu managed to keep his Black Parrots on task for the first half of the game, Going into halftime the Black Parrots were winning 17-0. But in the third quarter, the Bull Dawgs put up a quick 10 points and ghozu lost all control over his furious defense. The Black Parrots went on to win the game 31-17, but the margin was not large enough and they missed out on the playoffs. Paradoxically, The Paris Bull Dawgs, after losing this game, locked up the final spot in the playoffs. But the Bull Dawg skill players paid with a pound of flesh for the victory. To say that the final quarter of play was "a bit chippy" is an understatement. The Black Parrot defense wanted to inflict pain and that is exactly what they did. (CB) Russell Wilkes led the way for the Black Parrot defense with 9 bone crushing reverse pancakes on the Bull Dawgs receivers. After this particularly vicious knockdown, (WR) Ultimo K-Zinck came back to the sidelines with his eyes rolling into the back of his head and blood and spittle gushing out of his mouth:
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2921951&pbp_id=1277707

Special Teams Player of the Week: (HB) Tudah House -owned by Ballgame: The Agency 2.0 had a very respectable 6-2 record for the second half of the season. They continued their winning ways with an absolute dissection of the NY Buzz. In the lopsided 122-0 win (HB) Tudah House delivered 4 punt return touchdowns.

SEASON FINAL POWER RANKINGS
1. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts - the team to beat in the playoffs
2. Universal Studios Monsters- these Monsters can be a scary match-up
3. Rhode Island Red Wolves - don't count out the Red Wolves, this defense can take over a game
4. American Muscle - the World League bound team that still manages to win season after season
5. The Agency 2.0- the little farm team that could and would kick your ass
