It could be better... but dunno man. Hard to get behind it when DB's don't even bother.

Swat Ball is a must for coverage guys that are not strong to have a chance.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2097221 FB - had a cute lolblockingbar. I never watched him once to know if he was worth a shit.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2089542 WR - was one of the starters for a new age of possession speedsters.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2089554 WR - had a lot of potential but spent a lot of time on the bench in favor of other guys.

SDC isn't great. The speed-agility bonus is really tiny, and I doubt that the pass deflection bonus is great.

What does Swat Ball have to do with strength? It just gives a small bonus to the deflect score. That has some value, but like most SAs, it doesn't make a huge impact.

Back in the day SDC was badass. Did it get nerfed?

I think people realized it wasn't badass anymore once people started pushing speed above 120+

The low vision came from a theory that high vision causes STOP blockers to chase tacklers farther away instead of staying in front of the returner. I don't know if that's true, but it certainly didn't seem to hurt his effectiveness any. He didn't force many fumbles, but I'm amazed that he missed so few tackles despite playing on power tackling and having only 83 tackling and one piece of make tackle %.

Mirror build that somehow missed a hell of a lot more tackles. I guess it was where I played them, as I don't know what else could have caused the discrepancy. It couldn't be the minor difference in stamina, could it? Had I been paying more attention I would have shifted him to balanced tackling since he wasn't forcing many fumbles anyway.

Would you (or somebody else who can see it) mind giving us a few examples of where their breath was at by the time they got to the returner on punts and kicks? Can I assume they both were in on all the same plays?

I like it too if I have leftover skill points, but it's not that big a deal. And given that you can knock loose passes pretty successfully with only 50 strength, pretty much any CB can do it.

94 vs. 90. Hardly seems significant. I'd be inclined to believe it's positioning except that they always played opposite each other (OU2-OU5 on kickoffs, SE1-SE2 on punts). And it doesn't seem to be coincidence given that Sanguinius had a significantly worse tackle percentage in pretty much every season. Same VAs, same SAs, and Sanguinius actually had 3 more points in tackling.

I agree completely. It IS irrelevant. But my point doesn't need my QB to be made, ye know?
