How would there be bias when 99% of the selection is bias proof?

What I'm saying is this....
Example:
script filters out 100 of the top running backs in the game stats wise in rushing yards.
Take those 100 and go over which have the most awards and rings and reduce some more until you get say a top 5 at each position each season or every other season.
Like I said it needs structure 1st.
The current foundation is broken and has caved in

and your suggested system would be filled with nothing more than popularity contests. that and your system of taking the top 100 at each position is off also. if it is based solely on stats to start them more deserving players will be left out in the cold due to certain players spending a majority of their life in D-leagues and stat padding in leagues where their players shouldn't be in.

The final vote would be made by the GLB public based on players that the committee puts in place.

If there is a vote then it comes down to a popularity contest no matter how much you want to argue. seriously TN I commend you for the vision but it just won't work if humans have a hand in choosing the players inducted. there are to many variables in the decision process for it to work. If I were you I would push to have the active players removed from the HoF and leave iut at that.

Isn't that how the NFL Selection Committee makes their decisions?

again it reverts to a popularity contest. seriously look at it this way if Dpride and Yello1 both had players of the same position up for vote which player gets the votes? Dpride would because he is well known as being a very good player on the game. the Votes Yello1 would get would be sympathetic votes or actual people that do not like Dpride.

And I used the 2 agents in the example solely due to their perceived status on the game by most of the users.

OK yello1 you have to remember this isn't the NFL. this is a dotball game where trying to compare players from season 32 to players from season 1 is like comparing a ferrari to a fiero.

Sure a very small percentage is popularity but the majority of it has stats/championship rings and level of competition to back it

Even a Feiro has kit to convert it to a Ferrari

so by your process I could take a speed rusher DE and park him in D-leagues for a couple seasons and build up a ton of stats. then I could sign 1 season contracts when my player was level 79 in crap leagues and win championships in those crap leagues. that way he has championships and alot of stats. but a guy that keeps his player in the correct leveled leagues and never wins a championship but has great stats. would lose out to my player because you are waiting championships and stats more than the competition the player faced.

D-Leaguers would play not part in the Hall of Fame

boy you are grasping at straws tonight. the fiero could never be a ferrari simply due to the motor and the chassis. by your way of thinking we could catch a pig up and slap some make-up on it and call it a freaing beauty queen. but in reality even with the make-up she is still a lowely sow that sleeps in the mud and eats slop.

They would have to because if you didn't allow all stats to be counted then you are being biased towards certain aspects of the game. next thing you will be saying casual stats won't count as much as regular league stats. or peewee stats won't count unless it is peewee gold. you cannot differintiate between stats and have a legit process.
