I like Team Nucleus's attitude on this subject I wish that there was a legit way to see the HoF caliber players on the game. But I personally do not want a group of GLB users some of whom may or may not know how to build dotsjudging everyones players based on their opinions.

we already had a committee a while a go that selected a list of what we/they thought were the 50 best players
i dont think it worked out in the end and it was a lot of effort

and you have time to go through everyones eligible retired players? seriously TN if you actually went through the players just on my profile that would qualify to be checked it would take you a day or 2. I have built and retired roughly 200+ players on this game and I am getting ready to drop around 60 more and restart again. now I am not saying all of my players are legit HoF candidates. but you would need to actually do the back ground on all eligible players to have a completely legit HoF like you are outlining.

yeah, but you can't even view plays from the earlier seasons. I'm not sure that data would even exist anymore to get a clear understanding of the competitiveness of those games back then.
