Vision is the most over looked stat for a lot of positions. Some need a ton of it, but every player uses it.

WR is a corner case, it can be put to good use, or it can be done without.

LBs can do well with moderate vision, but not low vision...depends on the build and the defensive scheme.

FS-SS-CB...good luck with your low vision there. I hope you are in my league.

Same here. When you arrive into your 20s vision becomes the strongest bang for you buck on Dline. I've seen my DT read plays quicker, get off his blocker earlier (after making read), and my various watched ends and DTs get stronger and stronger in effectivness as they increase vision. I have a theory it may help on the snap jump factor of Dline.

Positions that don't need great vision

DE, DT, TE, FB, HB, WR, OT, OG, CB, FS, SS, OLB

What say you

Granted, the game has some tweaks with vision but,

In a real football situation:

DE - Needs vision to see the RB/QB to make sure they have the ball. And don't just tackle anyone
DT - See above.
OLB - Se Above.
TE - Needs vision to find a Blitzing LB/FS/SS/CB so he can block them.
OT - See above.
OG - See Above.

HB - The RB has to be able to see the hole, and pick the right hole to rush through.
FB - Needs to find a hole and help make the hole bigger for the RB.
WR - On a WR option play, they got to figure out which way is the best route to get open.

CB - THey have to be able to see the ball, and maybe read the play.
SS - See above
FS - See above

Vision is valuable.

I only post because I care and see many many people getting bad advice over and over again

Not sermon just a thought

okay... if u say its only useful for a few positions... which positions are that

I got:
DE - dunno.... to focus on the QB maybe
SS - pretty important to react
K - anyway

whats your opinion?

When i Said see above, I mean CB. All the positions need vision in some sort of way. I split it in to sections so I don't have to type as much.

On defense vision is very important , especially when in zone coverage .

Right now there is a problem with high vision HB/FBs but Bort is working on it to make it function better .

A skill that's overrated must be kicking , my WR softcapped it but is not performing that well !

The best pass rushing DE in all of GLB soft capped vision. Don't tell me vision is not important.

Vision is probably the most important stat for a safety.

Vision is only good for defensive players if they want to be the kind of player that recognizes plays quickly and gets into position to make plays.
