Vision is the worst I tells ya and with the exception of 1 or 2 players who arn't a QB those saying otherwise have SHIT players. Its nice to have but not at the expense of the best attribute agility followed closely by strength.

I only post because I care and see many many people getting bad advice over and over again

Not sermon just a thought

My WR have low vision, and are just okay.

My LB's dominate as my team is in the top 3 in our league in rushing yards against (excluding sacks) and all of our LB have high vision. One of my lower level LB just pumper vision the last two levels and has 4 sacks over his last two games.

This isn't some capped team, it is in USA AA and these CB's and LB's are lower leveled than most of the league.

you have 49 players own a team and gm 4 others. I would hope you could find a couple examples of high vision working but as I said in my previous post there are much more players with high vision who are bad then those with high vision who are good. It just depends on where you put your other skill points. If they were used wisely then your player will be good if not they will suck because vision is overrated. Overrated I tell you

Ok well it could just be that in addition to having good Vision their build may just suck..not exactly suck but it may not be the best.. That doesnt mean the vision is their problem.if anything it will help them because they see more of what develops

I wonder what attribute it is that makes my FS read an inside run play out of a cover1/cover2 (While being in pass focus mode, of course) and immediately run to the line, as if he were blitzing, to make the tackle?

Must be agility. Or strength. Yes. Agility or strength. Can't be vision.

Summary:
This thread fails.

Eh, I dunno.

My HB has vision soft-capped and gets 5 YPC reguarly.

MY LB has near soft-cap vision and (if you take out season 1) averages 100 tackles a season

I guess this is just another one of those threads >.>

At what point does your vision become "overrated"? My FB has vision low 30's and still runs to pick up the LE instead of picking up the LB or CB/SS downfield?

I can somewhat see remaxjon's point. When his vision was lower he used to just run straight up the gut. Now he dances in the backfield some.(Along with our HB"S now too) Do I need to soft cap his vision so he'll get back to leaving the strongest threat and pick up the guy not being blocked?

I don't think linemen like the guards and tackles need great vision. The ones who have to catch, carry or cover a man should have great vison along with the primary attributes. That's just my perspective and the game is still evolving.

Guards can do some pretty neat things with high vision, but they need speed to pull it off.

Vision is not underrated at all. However, it needs other attributes to pull it off.

Vision will allow your LB, SS, FS. or CB to read the play, even before the snap at times, but if you are slow, it won't matter because you can't get there in time.

Combine high vision with the right attributes and you will see exactly how goos vision can be.

Well actually my level 14 MLB has 50 vision with only average other attributes, and he lead the league in tackles.

So will you be starting the first thread when vision gets it's tweakings and it's fixed bitching about how your characters suck?

No, only a few of my 43 players will have high vision, I was just putting my view across about LBs.
