Wow and you say no team you GM for is running , yet SA Saints have an avg of 22,3 rushes pr game by their starting RB alone .

Hmmm .

I didn't say that no team I GM is running. I said as a whole GLB is by far a passing game.

My bad , a little too quick on that one . sorry .

You had 265 carries in your first season and 303 in your second season... How many carries do you expect to get in a season? 250-300 is normal for a full-time back in the NFL.

If you look at game by game results you will see the disparity.

look at any running back you will see disparity.
some games they run it well and get 25 carries, while other they get like 11

My two top teams would not be where they are now without the quality HBs we have. Sure, we can pass the ball, but when teams are playing you to pass and they have similar personnel on defense, it sure helps to have a couple of HBs that can pound it for 100-150 yards between the two of them.

Thats pretty much exactly the way it is in the NFL too.

The problem is that those teams probably have it on auto adjust, which when they run the ball poorly it goes away from it quickly.

Another possibility is that they have it set to pass mostly.

Last, it could just be that they are falling behind early and the sim leans on the pass more.

I would talk to your OC about this.

The hell?

Maybe it's just your team but from what I've seen from my friends and the CPU games I've played, if anything, the running game is used TOO much.

I see a lot of rushing yards when good teams play poor teams. But when elite teams face off running seems to be kind of impotent.

Well the top 3 teams in my conference are run first.

Maybe its your RB, probably non booster, with an average of less than 1.5 yards a rush.

How do you reach level 23 without boosting?

Start every game from day 1 in season 1 maybe

This is whats wrong. I have never had my RB average over 4ypc against a good team. Even when my O-line out levels them by 1-3. I'm not saying that you should be able to dominate every game but once would be nice. Please save the may be there tactics are to stop the run. Tactics don't mean that much. Even if they are geared to stop the run you mean to tell me no one can have a good game against good Defenses.

I think advanced tactics will help solve this problem.

Yeah, I agree that running quite simply doesn't work at the elite levels. The best teams have run defenses that are basically so ridiculous that it prevents even trying to run. heck, two teams in USA AAA B still are allowing negative yards a game on the ground. that IS a problem.

All I know is that my team is 6 yards away from having a pair of 1000 yard rushers. I can't speak for everyone. But if you want you RB to get more carries, sign with a team that can play defense. Just a thought.

Seems like you guys are saying it better than I could. Since the start of this game I've only played in an elite level, USA Pro.

The goal is to better your player to not make teams from those elite levels want to sign you and for you to perform once you get there.
