You can't leave 24 points hanging out there and 10 early on. The missed 4th 1 to tie the game then get cute on a FG try. It was painstaking to watch but Ohio State, Oklahoma and La Tech came through so escaped with a little and then hit my just win parlay with the Texans/Boys. I won't be retiring early at this rate.

The closest game was 11 this week but a ton of routes. We've only got six weeks left in the season and the East in nearly wrapped up minus seeding while the west has some unfinished business. Speaking of business, let me get to it.

LEAGUE SURVIVOR
15 entered for week 10 with one elimination.

TOURNEY

San Dimas Saints vs. Magua's Revenge - Big upset and dominate performance over the Spiders and now they'll get another test. These two had a nice match up in the regular season and who doesn't like a good Cinderalla story...27-24

Grand Rapids River Rats vs. Charlestown Chiefs - Chiefs beat the River Rats by an average of 80 ppg in their two meetings last season. They'll dominate once again...56-3.

GAME OF THE WEEK
Running Gag took out the Sofia Spiders 38-27. It was a hotly contested battle as Gag took the 21-13 halftime lead on the aid of two long TD's (58 and 41 yards). Sofia cut into the lead after three quarters (24-20) but the Gag scored the first two TD's of the fourth to put it away. Running punched at the Spiders on both the ground (204 yards) and through the air (286 yards). The yard were about even (490 to 488.5) but the big difference was the turnover battle as Gag won that 4-1. The Spiders did force two fumbles but could not recover either one. The four picks brings the total to 25 and the only reason I bring it up is that he has one more than my QB.

WEEKLY PICKS
LG Canucks @ Sofia Spiders - Lot of passing and lot of picks is how I see this one going with the Spider D too strong for LG to peak over the top...38-13.

Running Gag @ Charlestown Chiefs - The darling of the regular season dominated Gag last season and will do so in convincing fashion this year...38-20.

San Dimas Saints @ Juarez Jalapeņos - Saints have dropped two straight but will get back on track with a huge effort on the ground...59-0.

Not Fast, Just Furious @ Magua's Revenge - The Revenge got us by 11 last season by killing us in the 4th but this year we get our revenge...24-23

Chile Chupacabras @ Vancouver Gorillas - Seem like the Gorillas have packed it in for the off season as Chile will roll up some big rushing yards here...55-13

Alabama Yellowhammers @ Las Vegas Chaos - 'Bama got their first W but the Chaos is on a streak and want to keep it going - they, in fact, will...35-21.

POWER RANKING
1. Running Gag - Sitting at 10-0 and coming off a double digit point win over Sofia.
2. Magua's Revenge - Had an easy one over LG with the only slip up to Gag in week eight.
3. Charlestown Chiefs - Second best win streak at seven but they did lose to the Revenge in week three.
4. Not Fast, Just Furious - Coasted against the Gorillas but have not got a signature win (unless you count the 59 point beat down of Sofia in week six).
5. Sofia Spiders - Had only four losses last season but currently have five. Will likely be traveling in round one to the Revenge or Chiefs (have fun).

GAMBLERS
Utah -3.5 (against USC)
UCF -12.5 (against Pitt)
WVU -4.5 (against Kansas)
Wisconsin - to win against michishitgan

Here we go as we get closer to the finish line as there are unsettled playoff spots and seedings up for grabs.

LEAGUE SURVIVOR
Three were eliminated this week while 14 entered (drum roll on the math...11 remain).

GAME OF THE WEEK
While there is league wide despise for sunder B you cannot deny the dominance of the Chiefs. They showed a toughness in a battle with Running Gag in what many experts would call a "defensive war." The Chiefs won the game by rallying in the 4th for the 17-16 win. The game started quiet enough with both teams getting three in the first. The offensive fireworks continued with Gag the only team scoring in the second (you guessed it, a FG). Gag took the half-time lead 6-3. The offenses seemed woke in the third as each put up a TD and Gag led heading into the fourth 13-10. Gag added to their lead early in the fourth on yet another FG (16-10). The Chiefs O came alive and went nine plays - all through the air driving 80 yards for the game winner.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
QB Brought their F'n Toys With Them. Didn't put up hall of fame stats in the W but drove the Chiefs to a game winner against the most winning team in Casual Pro history. He brought it to the tune of 38/60 for 336 yards and two TD's. A big stat was the no thrown picks.

WEEKLY PICKS
Not Fast, Just Furious @ Alabama Yellowhammers - We beat 'Bama by 183 in the first game and while we take the second game it won't be by as much...48-3.

Chile Chupacabras @ LG Canucks - Crunch time for both of these teams and Chile has won two of three (third being a tie)so I'll go with the Chupacabras here...27-13.

Running Gag @ San Dimas Saints - Saint only scored seven in their 45 point loss to Running and they'll make it much closer but still lose...38-13.

Juarez Jalapeņos @ Vancouver Gorillas - Can Juarez win one - spoiler, no...34-13.

Magua's Revenge @ Charlestown Chiefs - Revenge bounced the Chiefs by 31 in week three but time for some payback from Charlestown...28-27.

Sofia Spiders @ Las Vegas Chaos - Spider won round one 61-6 and we'll see if the Chaos have learned from the dismantling...48-14.

POWER RANKINGS
1. Charlestown Chiefs - back on top after defeating the previous number one in a hotly contested game.
2. Running Gag - took a dip in a one point loss to the Chiefs.
3. Magua's Revenge - have to question if that was a regulation field against NFJF this past week.
4. Not Fast, Just Furious - haven't figured it out yet and time is a ticking losing to the Revenge by 14.
5. Sofia Spiders - took out LG in convincing fashion and look to get things moving as the season closes.

PLAYOFF REVIEW

West
Gag has the top seed locked up as the rest of the teams have been a mere speed bump in their wake. Seeds two through four remain wide open though JF and Saints will be battling for homefield in the two versus three match up. The fourth seed is going to go down to the wire as both Canucks and Chupacabras battle for that coveted playoff spot.

East
The Revenge and Chiefs are going after that one spot that could very well decided by their game this week (Sofia will of course play spoiler as it plays both yet). Speaking of Sofia, they are battling with the Chaos for the third seed and play each other this week. All four of these teams will cover the four seeds as the Gorillas seemed to resign to kicking 75 yard FG's though they did just put up 45 against Chile (but gave up 65 in the process).

Thought I'd add a few things to liven things up so went through each season to find the QB's who've thrown for over 100 regular season TD's. I recall a few of those dots the last team my team was up here in the later parts of seasons 37.
