We have got eight games in the books and you know what that means - MID-SEASON REVIEW time. This is where I'll try to get really wordy to make this appear much bigger than the normal issues although this season has not been anything but normal with several missed weeks and sunder even doing a weekly pick (you know we were in trouble). There are some shocking teams and the norm with Gag being dominate in the West and the Revenge and Chiefs battling it out for the top spot in the East as Sofia ho-hums the regular season.
GAME OF THE WEEK
The San Dimas Saints beat the Sofia Spiders in a barn burner 28-24. The teams were like "let's not score a lot in the first half" as the score was knotted up at seven apiece. The Saints took control with a 14-7 third quarter aided by an 80 yard TD run by RB Chaz Ray. In this run vs. pass the Spiders let me down [sad face] as the Saints rushed for 390 yards while the Spiders passed for 359 yards. It was three picks by legendary QB Boozy Patton Jr. that ultimately hurt the Spiders - BPJ has 21 picks on the season which leads the leauge.
DOT OF THE WEEK
RB Chaz Ray, San Dimas Saints. Ray was a ray of sun shine cutting through the Spider defense on the way to 117.5 yards 14 carries (8.4 ypc) with a TD. That TD, as noted above, was an 80 yarder that tied the game at 14. The Saints rushing attack hurt the Spiders but Ray did the "leg work."
OOPS I DID IT AGAIN
I don't know why I was looking at kickers and I noticed one poor kicker gets asked to do some outrageous attempts. Gorillas kicker Dustin Hopkins has tried some FG's from distance and while the dot has made a few boomers the dot has also missed more than enough. Let's take a look at the FG's this poor dot has been asked to make and miss.
Made: 61, 31, 33, 42.5, 64.5, 43.5, 40.5, 35.5, 32, 51.5, 61.5, 33.5, 58.5, and 47.5.
Missed: 64.5, 60.5, 70.5, 73.5, 46.5, 52, 65, 69.5, 69.5, 76.5, 74, 68.5, and 59.

Looking over my picks and if my math is correct I'm sitting at 100% on the season.
Not Fast, Just Furious @ Juarez Jalapeņos - We're not happy with the sloppy performance in the first half of the season and look to start the second half strong...56-10.
Chile Chupacabras @ Magua's Revenge - Revenge blanked the Chupacabras last season and they'll have the upper hand in this game as well...31-7.
Running Gag @ Vancouver Gorillas - Gorillas need to start winning as their second half is a rough road but it will have to wait until Running runs them over...60-0.
San Dimas Saints @ Las Vegas Chaos - Saints have played well against passing teams and LV like to pass though not tomorrow...37-14.
Alabama Yellowhammers @ Sofia Spiders - Will they sleeping giant finally wake up - nah, they can sleep through this one...45-9.
LG Canuck @ Charlestown Chiefs - Chiefs do more than smokem piece pipe and the Canucks will get to see first hand...45-17.
POWER RANKINGS
1. Running Gag - left no doubt with a 51-13 over the previous number one and now they're the only team without a loss in the league.
2. Magua's Revenge - they'll have to respond after getting crushed but they hold tie breakers over conference foe Chiefs for the time being.
3. Charlestown Chiefs - lone loss to the Revenge and they'll try for their own brand of revenge in week 12.
4. San Dimas Saints - The noobs have looked good out of the game
5. Not Fast, Just Furious - we don't lose close ones...we get crushed and need to work on not getting routed.
6. Sofia Spiders - three of the four losses have been by two or less scores (fear the Spiders!!!).
7. LG Canucks - They got only five wins last season so well on pace to leapfrog that with four already.
8. Las Vegas Chaos - Another new team pushing for that playoff spot. They will be fighting for that 4th seed until week 16.
9. Chile Chupacabras - Will put up a fight to the end for the final playoff spot so don't count Chile out for one minute.
10. Vancouver Gorillas - Not a bad team but you can't give your opponents the ball at the 50 three times a game either (see kicker write-up).
11. Alabama Yellowhammers - shown flashes but 0-8 is 0-8. They'll win one but can they win two?
12. Juarez Jalapeņos - they've struggled on the year with no wins but they put in scare into LG in week six only losing by 14 points.
MID-SEASON ALL LEAGUE
