I gave Denver too much credit in the OP. Thought Seattle would win by 21...instead it was 35 and it could have been worse!

Second biggest blowout in SB history... and you got the teams switched... close though!

The better team dominated all three phases of the game and sat on the ball in the 4th or it likely would have been 57-8
Had Seattle not played it classy at the end and run up the gut on their last two drives, it would have been the biggest blowout in SB history.
In the SB era, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Baltimore and Seattle stand out as the stellar D's of the last 50 yrs.

Denver just didn't show up. Seattle is not that much better than Denver. One team was up and the other was flat.

Let's not forget that the SB was essentially a home game for Seattle since the shitty New York fans jumped on their bandwagon.

Obviously the "Eli has two rings and is therefore the better Manning QB" argument just got stronger.

LOL, you were spouting about how Denver was the better team before the game. The #1 D all season from the toughest division, in the superior conference hardly equates to 'one team up and the other team down' excuse.

2800 miles from Seattle=essentially a home game?
The better team dominated every phase for all 60 minutes. Legion of Boom = World Champions!

Eh, I'd argue that a champion shows up. And as wide as the margin of victory was, I seriously doubt that Denver playing to their full potential would've erased that entire deficit.

Again, champions figure out how to win regardless of the environment. Doesn't matter to me where they played it or whose side the fans were on.
43-8. That's an ass-kicking no matter how you slice it up. Disappointing to me since I like Peyton Manning and was hoping he'd get another ring, but the Seahawks were clearly better.

The physical location had nothing to do with my post. If you didn't notice how the vast majority of the crowd screamed and yelled when the Broncos were on offense then you didn't watch the game.
Furthermore, anyone that seriously called for a blowout either way were just homers talking shit. I still do not think Seattle was that much better than Denver and it's obvious Denver had their head up their ass from the opening kickoff. Anything can happen in one game and in this instance it was a blowout that favored Seattle. Seattle played with much more intensity than Denver and that was the difference in the game. I have no idea how a team doesn't get up for the Super Bowl, but obviously Denver didn't. The offense line played half-assed the entire game and the defense finally gave in after it was apparent the offense wasn't going to get their act together.
I don't care for either team it's just Seattle fans overall are among the most classless bunch I've witnessed outside of Philadelphia. Seattle fans act like white trash that just won the lottery.
