Seriously, though, the more I think about this transition (from GLB 1.0 to GLB 2.0), the more pissed off I get.

I actually just posted in both of my team forums to warn everyone NOT to boost their dots until we know more from the big announcement on Wednesday, because there's a chance my teams won't exist anymore on Thursday. And having to post that sucks. It fucking sucks. But I can't expect my people to keep spending Flex on GLB 1.0 if it will take away from their Flex budget for GLB 2.0. That's not fair to them.

Maybe Bort and Pallow will pull something out of their ass and make players and teams fully transferable from GLB 1.0 to GLB 2.0, in which case it would make sense to continue boosting and developing our dots.

If they don't have something like that in the announcement, though... well...

That is one approach to take. Personally, I know that I like GLB 1.0. I don't know that I will like GLB 2.0. That screenshot looks stupid. The player's feet are a yard long. I'm going to stick with GLB 1.0 until a) they close shop or b) GLB 2.0 is shown to be worthwhile.

I figure if Walking Dead is the last WL team standing, we can 10-peat and have a ring for every finger

Oh and DD said that it is a fresh start in GLB 2.0. No player / team crossover.

That screen shot might not impress too many people but it already has the current "dot" beat by a healthy margin

This, they are even a long way from Beta testing.

They already have the code - so how tough is a rewrite in another program? This is going to happen a lot faster than you think.

When I started playing GLB back in April of 08, they already had a fully operational code for this version of GLB.

Hope they make the announcement soon. Novus can't take the stress of not knowing much longer....lol
