With 16 weeks and only 16 teams, it's almost inevitable that someone get the whale twice, perhaps even for the same thing. I hate to pile on, but this week's fail play call was even less excusable than the previous one. Recall the week 2 fail award:

Belligerent Midgets Not Going For It

Week 10. Are we past 10 already? I refuse to believe it. This week brought about Victoria's opportunity to unseat undefeated Cobden as the 1-seed. Things were going well (7-6 lead) until the opening kickoff of the second half. Which was fumbled by KR Maxwell ™ and recovered by the Muskrats. With the turnover, Cobden immediately reclaimed the lead and then continued to stretch it until the game was out of reach. It was a tough day for the returner in general, including two kick returns stopped short of the 20 yard line. Oh well, there is always the hope of playoff redemption. Congrats, Teabaggers!

It's what happens when you build a new AI mid season but don't proof read all your inputs, had the input set at -3 to -100 for some reason. Changed it now but definitely still deserve the whale....gotta take home something this season lol

Thaaktown Razor Dawgs' Defense AI

Yeah saw this coming.

Week 12 saw two upsets shake up the CPL top 5. This week's fail is awarded to District 9 for squandering a 14 point lead in the final 29 minutes. Society chipped away slowly at first, kicking two third quarter field goals, then oddly settled for the extra point and a 23-24 deficit with 11:33 left. But D9 had no offense left to stave off a comeback, gaining just one first down whilst turning over on downs twice after having taken a 24-10 lead. The Society converted 4 third downs on the game-winning drive. Congrats, Prawns!

Can I request the fail whale for the Midgets lol

1 second left and we have the win and Thaaktown literally calls a weak I run..........and scores a 48 yard TD run to take it to OT.........then in OT we get the ball and drive down, get a first down in their end but inside of running the ball a bit closer for the FG we decide to kick it right there on first down as a 54 yard FG and miss.........Thaaktown takes the ball and hits their own FG and wins

4th qtr hold with 1 second left------fail
OT AI input getting the ball closer for FG------fail
Defense holding in OT------fail
Knowing you just lost your playoff chances--------
