Lower levels are also struggling with an "exploit" in my opinion but whether its an exploit or not it sucks.
The issue is that you can set a SS or FS to blitz from 10-20 yards away and the QB reads the blitz and hurries the throw even though the blitzer is still 10-20 yards away.
Example:

The QB has the yellow icon above him meaning he read a blitz and dumped the ball off quick despite only having 2 rushers and 6 blockers. Catch22 looked into it and said the SS was set to blitz so "working as intended".
So all you have to do is blitz someone from 10-20 yards away and the QB will dump it off in a hurry no matter how good the protection is

Thats cause Catch has that response as an auto-mated response to everything. Dude thinks this game is perfect.
And to the OP, ive seen this happening even at PRO/WL levels, the hurries are ridiculous but wont be fixed. Bort has gotten lazy.

I think Catch is simply overwhelmed and doesn't spend the time checking on things the way he used to do. At any rate it's not his fault, he didn't code it.

Catch checks in all the time.
I wouldn't doubt that the move out of Beta has GLB's eyes set towards their new project though from Bort and others.

Can't imagine they would move to a new project because this one still isn't even close to finished and working properly. I can see them naming it Half Court Dunk where you can shoot 3 pointers from the concession stands and dunk basketballs from half court. Offensive charging is called during team time outs and free throws are given to the cheerleaders. On the defensive end you will have 5' tall guys blocking 7' guys at will and penalty shots. Hurray to the future!

This game is never going to fully work the way everyone wants it to. It is past the point of any easy fix to appease the majority of GLB. Which is why anything done from here on out will be small patches. Even though those small patches will probably still be pretty game changing as that all it takes to completely change the game now.

Fuck pride, the cashflow has slowed significantly, and it's time to revitalize it with a new audience who won't be aware of the bullshit they're going to have to put up with.
