Also...ppl need to chill on the 392 day thing....we're used to thinking of our dots in terms of days, and 440 is the big goal. The 392 days referred to is in REAL DAYS. 40 days per season and 16 days per off season(56 * 7 = 392 days). As Catch says, it saves 224 days compared to the 11 season model we have now (616 days).
If I had to guess, we will still end up with some sort of extended plateau based on the number of boosts used during our dot's careers.
On another note, how will mid season created dots be addressed in this model? The 3 extra boosts from 69 to 72 is the current protection in place for these dots, but depending on the way the new player development is structured, that may need to be revisited.
