Related to this, will there be changes to some of the younger leagues (less teams, etc.)?

I'd also like to know if the old slow building of players will also be available? Not that I'm against the Accelerated Player Development but it would be nice if we could build them either way.

Halve it is the obvious solution but keep the same plateau, will probably be much easier to integrate that way as well

this. If you arent going to make it so we peak at season 5 you might as well not even do it at all. 392 is still a LONG ass time to wait for a dot to get to the top. Especially when we dont even know what the state of this game is going to be then. Look at how the forum activity was a year ago compared to how it is now

Okay here is how it should go in my opinion.

Players start as normal. However instead of 25 Skill Points to apply, they can apply 595 Skill Points (roughly what a 280 day old player would have from training and leveling, might make it 600 just to have a round figure to work with). The 25 cap on an individual attribute would be removed and replaced with an 81 point cap.

There are just two levels of play.

College, Age Range 1 to 5 Seasons Min to Max. 32 Leagues, with each regular season followed by a 64 team Collegiate Championship Bowl tourney on days 41 to 47 in which the top two teams in each league play. Players can be signed to teams during tourney play, but do not change teams till they are out of the tourney.

Pro, Min Age 4 Seasons. 64 Leagues, with each regular season followed by a 128 team World Bowl tourney on days 41 to 48 in which the top two teams in each league play.

Plateau would occur at Age 6 and would last through Age 14, after which decline begins in the Age 15 season.

Casual would have the same, but with fewer leagues. As now players could switch back and forth from casual to normal leagues.

Pee Wee would be players that are built just like they are now but which have an age of -40. Pee Wee players can be converted to regular players on Day 40 of their first season (their Pee Wee or senior HS season). You could just reboot them and make them a new build but which retains their Season 0 Stats and their name, or you could start a player conversion screen that would give them only 450 SP to spend on their build (the reduction being reflective of what they may have added as pee wees, the figure should be adjusted to be fair yet avoid abuse that makes it mandatory to be a pee wee, this should just be an option). The next season they would be Season 1 players for College League Play.

Thats my input.

What say ye?

EDIT - ALG gains for pee wees would be as at level 0. ALG gains for the regular players would start as though you were level 48 in the current system.

Would be interesting to see dots at level 81 before their first ALG

Rumor has it that all dots built in the "old" system will be converted to the new one. So here's my new question:

Similar to the season or two before archetypes were released, will the dots built the couple of seasons prior to the release of the new build system be compromised? In other words (assuming the new system is released in S25), will my S24 dot be inferior with a year in the old system to my S25 dot who was created entirely under the new system?

Yes

Though keep in mind that with my idea I did not suggest that ALGs would be as they are now.

You would get ALGs as though you were at level 48 or so.

Will edit to add that in.
