I understand scientific theory. Considering most of this game is speculation, they are all experimental characters.

It's obviously just numbers, no one is going to build a 100/50 or 100/100 guy... I was only talking about how agility effects speed..

Different positions require different ratio's.

I would disagree. Most people want the formula to build an awesome dot.

Thats true, but what I think jdbolick is getting at that higher speed values (130+) will require a higher accelaration factors since they have to get to their top speed in the same time. And honestly, agility is not as good as advertised with speedsters. First step and quick cut are what you want when you get agility to a respectable level (68+, assuming ALG's take it higher), its a better use of SP's in general.

I was getting at Underdawg08 being wrong about thinking that agility = acceleration, wrong about high speed / low agility dots creeping up to full speed, wrong about a 3:1 speed:agility ratio being "perfect" for any season of the sim, and wrong about what flames was rocking back in the day.

His Center has 140 str and nothing else. (off topic though)

Also, Grifter had less than 110 speed and more agility.

When Grifter was level 23, he had about 96 speed and 40ish agility.

He acquired significantly more agility later on.

I am not sure what level 23 builds can tell us about anything.....

HIS FS had 130 speed, or 120... and he added more agility later, it was really out of wack. Like I said I wish I still had the screen shots when he was playing for real.

but taut has a point.

All speed will win lvl 23 leagues at this point.
There's no denying that.

But when you get higher up, lack of this or lack of that will decimate you.
But you know this.
