btw anyone know- is upgrading the second EQ that you use BT to buy now free?

and tbh this whole policy seems completely counter-intuitive. I thought the whole idea of equipment was to be able to modify your build? If you're going to force the player to make a choice and stick with it it sounds like you might as well just give us extra SP every level instead of equipment

But listen up Bort and Catch, If we don't like these changes and people start moving away in droves, What then?

How much does the avg GLBer pay per year on this game? I know I've personally dropped at least $200 or more.

Times that by how many agents, owners you have. Then calculate the losses if your changes don't fly...

Oh boy Ive dropped way more than 200 per year. lol. I mean I only by the 50 dollar flex packages but Ive bought so many ive easily spent 1k on this game. Thats why Im not just going to quit because if i quit im basicallly thowing all my money away

Hold off on your thought and wait till you see the UI before commenting. I really think you will change your mind...there really is no difference. It went from "deciding which player to equip and how much" to "which team possessions to purchase"

It WONT be more complicated.

I hope you are right and it doesn't but at this point I will keep to my opinion but wait and see.

I think you are underestimating the waves of agents that are pleased and not voicing their opinion...GLB will be fine

Normal - What we have now w/ these revised changes

Casual - Current Casual w/ these revised changes

Basic - No Financials at all and Casual Tactics....JUST PLAY

Peewee - Current Peewee

fine. but i'm guessing i won't be able to have my team taken out of Casuals and put into Basic. that would be TOO MUCH OF A CHANGE!!!

Coaches will create a parity problem, not an exploit but a problem nevertheless. Its being overlooked unfortunately.

People have a big problem with losing their money that they worked for. Yeah its being put into an account, but can only be spent on 3 things. I think most owners would rather be able to keep their money and use it how they want to.

There is a limit of four additional pieces that a player can have.

Current players now, how will there EQ be affected?

I have a guy with 12 AEQ....This system is implemented...

He poof gets to buy 4 standard EQ bringing him to 16?

He does that, or nothing, what happens to the AEQ/EQ over 8?

Mentor was anyways. And MS has been talked about and this change puts it over the edge. Basically team possessions are replacing these.....you should be happy though....this allows you to put VA's elsewhere.

These changes are being implemented because its what Bort wants, not what the majority wants. Imagine if they did a poll on this. Thats why they haven't, it would make them look bad.

Guys.....whether you like it or not...SOMETHING had to be done because the current system is filled w/ Exploits. This is about as good as they can get it. You got to understand that every change is going to upset some....but in the end they are doing what they feel is best for the game.

As for the 5 "categories" of Hardcore, Normal, Casual, Basic, Peewee

It wont result in MORE CPU teams because the Hardcore/Basic will only create as many leagues as there is demand.

As for Peewee I'm not aware of a problem there. As for Casual and Normal.....I think eventually he will pare down some of the AA leagues....I think that's proved itself to be inevitable.

However another thing you got to understand is one of the main reasons there are a lot of CPU's is there is a waiting list, and if it's constantly full it's hard for Bort to realize that demand is low and he needs to cut out some leagues......I dont want him to ever have to turn down potential new owners or make them wait a season before they can get what they want.......so in doing this what happens is a lot of people get a team on day 43ish and within a week they will sell back....and that kind of screws things up.

current system may have exploits, financial overhaul addresses some. But the "HOLES IN THE GAME" are part of what is exploited and unbalanced. Most of you user base is confused, most don't like it. a large portion will rage quit and already have, the rest will try but be left with a ghost town...

That's where I think you're wrong JB, every system will have exploits. I can't emphasize this enough, the more you restrict agents in a GAME that is suppose to be FUN the enjoyment of the GAME will go down. If anything they needed to simplify things not add more shit for owners/agents to figure out/spend more time on.

While discussing the potential changes one big thing we did was try to come up w/ Exploits...if you can think of any by all means let us know.

without getting to test this and without getting the info we need we won't know what "exploits" there are until the system is in place

the user interface being easy is not the issue - it's easy now - but you still have to know what you can afford and when you can afford to do it - it's amazing how many people struggle with that
