It wont result in MORE CPU teams because the Hardcore/Basic will only create as many leagues as there is demand.
As for Peewee I'm not aware of a problem there. As for Casual and Normal.....I think eventually he will pare down some of the AA leagues....I think that's proved itself to be inevitable.
However another thing you got to understand is one of the main reasons there are a lot of CPU's is there is a waiting list, and if it's constantly full it's hard for Bort to realize that demand is low and he needs to cut out some leagues......I dont want him to ever have to turn down potential new owners or make them wait a season before they can get what they want.......so in doing this what happens is a lot of people get a team on day 43ish and within a week they will sell back....and that kind of screws things up.Yes. BTW...I read at least 5 pages of that thread and there were mostly negative comments. These changes are about it for my interest in this game as a team owner. I'll most likely be merging my team with another team next year as my friend and I already don't have enough time. I'll have to give up OC/DCing for the other team I do that for. That owner doesn't have time anymore so he said "you run or I'm getting rid of it" a couple of seasons ago. That team will be left behind too. I believe this is the effect these changes will bring.
And what is with all these morale bonuses and crap. Are they trying to make this into Madden Franchise Mode or something?
