Jackhammer, Scat Back, and Zone Focus are replacing the respective VA's at those positions - existing players who have these VA's will be able to keep them but they will not stack with the new SA's (meaning don't select it when you choose an archetype). Wow. That IS very weak. So if I have a HB/FB or a LB/CB/S I should think about grabbing one each of the relevant VAs right now.

Awesome that the admins are giving out exploits to their own system thats supposed to equalize build types, eh?

Just throw one into ZS and you can have a shutdown corner AND have Zone Specialist. The teams that are in the know are going to be cleaning house with this one.

If we don't say something about it now, it's just going to be another "gate" in another season or two when people find out it's being done.

Most players that qualify for these VA's are going to be over 80 days old right? So they won't be archetypes right? So Archetypes won't even have these VA's available rigt. However, These VA's will cont. to work as long as you keep them.

TBH I haven't been keeping up on the archtype discussion enough to say what's possible. I've just been informed of this through sources and goings on in forums saying "PUT POINTS INTO THESE NOW".

I was understanding that older players were currently going to get to pick an archtype if they so choose, correct?

Not sure, but I think it is only for younger players and newly created players, but it might be global, since it would prolly take a whole other server to keep em seperate.

AFAI understood, ALL players can choose an archtype.

And yes, I have players on my teams with these VAs. I just think its BS that certain teams have this info and are leveraging it while they're about to implement something that gives them an even greater advantage.

That's exactly opposite what these archtypes and VA changes were supposed to accomplish.

Older players will get the option of picking an archetype. You're right in that you should put a point in each of these if you'd like to use them. Apparently, the SA versions are not going to be as strong as the VA versions. For players over level 25 (and thus having Vet Points), they can use the new archetypes AND the old VA's. That will be the more powerful combination as opposed to picking these skills as SA's.

Information sharing is a pretty big weakness in this game, IMO. I hate having to troll through the myriad of forums to learn important information.

I dont know... Scat back and Zone specialist VAs are pretty darn powerful.

I agree with the information sharing problem. Only the people in networks or those that scour the forums n a daily basis for the newest buzz and insider info are going to be aware of this. It's why I wanted to bring it to light on the main forum and see about getting support for a full mandatory reset on these VAs in order to balance the system.

It needs to happen.
