and I would suggest widening the area you can drag a player

for instance you can easily create a 5 man front, but I would like the ability to set up the line in proper techniques(alignments)

im sure it has been mentioned a few times already but i will add to the numbers, i feel that will better increase the importance of the addition.

1. Be able to select the offensive formation to which you are drawing the play up for
2. Allow the offense to be seen in the play creator (for reasons stated several times already im sure)

yes being able to have a blitz route would be nice just the word blitz is to open inside outside maybe after you pick blitz for the player be able to set a path for him and i dont know if they have custom o plays but if we dont it would be nice to see that since the d is getting something nice which ill love so much since im a d gm i think we would be able to over power the O and i dont know if we are able to pick like 4cbs and 6cbs in custom d plays i only looked it a few mins since its not for live games i dont feel like messing around to much with it

SUBSTITUTIONS, please! i.e. a fourth LB in instead of SS, or diffrent D-Lineman and LB's for diffrent situations. Make it like the O subs - DT 1,2/NT 1,2 or LOLB 1,2

Also diffrent blitz pathings would be cool (including D-Line)

I'd like the ability to tell each specific defensive player which specific offensive player to cover.

Example:
LOLB - Man Cover - TE
ROLB - Man Cover - HB

Something like that.

Not exactly in this manner. While I can currently say in this situation use this defense. I would like to see us be able to take that a step further. In this game situation use this base set. However, if they come out in formation 1 use play A, if they come out in formation 2 use play two, if they come out in formation 3 make adjustment C.

This is a little more realistic and gives the defense the ability to adjust more to the offense than it currently does, while not giving it the unfair advantage of being able to decide the complete defensive scheme based on the offensive play.
