Here's some for you Staz. I personally like them because they actually close the level gap which we all know is a good thing on GLB:

After we get some solid suggestions, we can start splitting these up into "*" "**" "***" ratings lol (1-3 stars)

I'm hesitant for Bort to add ANY new VA's.. the moment he adds one which I like - I'll be one of the people who feels (if not actually coming out and saying) that everyone who wants that new ability should have the chance to "redistribute" all of their existing points.

It's different from just tweaking an existing ability.. you already know what an ability is supposed to do, even if the actual effect is somewhat changed at a later point for balance.

I do think that we need to cut some out, redo some abilities, and what not. Then, redistribute our points. A simple "refund" would work.

To consolidate some of the ones not in here from my original thread:

Blocking Abilities

Raises his Game: % chance to increase spd, agi, blocking when facing a faster opponent
Double Team: % chance to successfully block multiple defenders
Hold Him Down: % chance to hold a player in a block for an extra few seconds
Just in Time: % chance to throw a last minute block for a RB before they get tackled as they run by the player - can be used even if they are already currently engaged in a block

Offensive Countering Abilities:

Knock him down: Reduces chance of pass deflection by X% of any defender within 3 meters of a player playing C, OT or G.
Take the Impact: reduce the chance of a fumble on a tackle within 3 meters of a player playing C, OT or G.
Fast Reactions When the ball is fumbled inside the line of scrimmage: increases the chance that player will recover the ball
Slow him down % chance to reduce the speed of a defender as they pass the player

General Ability:
Dominate Player: at the beginning of every game - this players marks an appropriate opposing player as *dominated*. Any time these players match up - there is a chance that the dominated player gets -5% to all attributes.

We need a veteran ability for KR/PR. Currently there aren't any that I could find that are really good for one. This could possibly just give a boost to the return specialist SA or even the Super Vision or change direction SA when returning kicks. Kind of similar to the quick feet veteran ability but for KR/PR. Another idea could be reducing the energy used to return kicks, as this would help players who also play another important role in the offense/defense and don't want to waste as much stamina returning kicks.

That could work. We'd need to figure out what the boost would be. How about a boost to juke/headfake/return specialist?

Well, I'm a corner back who is a KR and I don't have juke or head fake (and I think CBs are the only ones with KR specialist, right?). I'm not sure about exactly what the specifics should be, as I'm obviously not real experienced in the game, I just know there needs to be one for return men. Maybe just a 3% boost to return specialist? Or a 1% boost to speed and agility while returning kicks?

what about gamebreaker? i saw it on the page before this..it's actually one of the many that i suggested in a previous thread that showed up here. im glad they did!
